from what i know about the barca academy, the trainers will sit anyone - regardless of talent - who develops attitude issues. a few matches on the bench should take care of the problem - assuming one exists.

Comments from club members who attend B, Juvenil A matches etc...I've actually read nothing backing it up from the club or local press apart from all the hype about him...None of the highlights I've seen of him suggests he's not a good teammate either...And I agree with fiercejoy, the club would sit a player like that

Could he have an attitude like say Deulofeu?...Perhaps but I was just curious if anyone here had any other background info on the kid...Looks incredibly impressive, must say

Check out the barca player at 4:21. It appears Barca teaches their youth ranks how to whine like a little school girl after a challenge.

A nice article on the La Masia FB page:

I'm not sure how many of you guys can read Spanish so...

"A few days ago, for example, copied to Raul at the Camp Nou and commanded silence the opposing team's parents in the Ciutat Esportiva after scoring a goal."

Honestly laughed out loud at this... I guess this was that attitude issue they were talking about. If so we've got absolutely nothing to worry about, esp. if this means we will see more PJS vs Japan type goal celebrations haha!

I actually wouldn't mind if lee seung woo had a bit of an attitude problem. I'm sure that the barca coaches have dealt with tons of kids like this, and wouldn't let it get out of control. But right now, I'd definitely rather have a superstar that acted a bit more like cristiano ronaldo or another fancy player than say messi or other low key players. And remember, even though ronaldo has some attitude, he trains extremely hard.

As great as PJS is, he sort of played the stereotypical asian role. I admit fully that his hard working attitude got other korean players oppurtunities in europe, but he acted so obsequiously to man u, and i do think it had a role in how PCY was treated at arsenal.

If Lee can get rid of some of the stereotypes and become a superstar, i don't think it'll just stop other korean players from being treated like PCY, i think it'll have a large impact in how asian men are portrayed in general. I'm sure you guys know about the nerdy, weak stereotype of asian men. We need a flashy player that maybe has a few affairs here and there to break these stereotypes.

Ki Sungyong is a whinny little girl type on his best day. To really defeat the stereotype that we lack characters, we would need some clowns like Balotelli, some crazy psychopaths like Joey Barton, and some thugs/jerks like Ibrahimovic.

Or we can just live without them.

I don't think the rest of Korea would be prepared to deal with someone like this LOL.

There are many multicultural communities being developed around the poorest areas of the metropolitan and many that are raised there play football. There is no reason why we can't have some crazy, Chinese or Filipino version of Ibrahimovic playing for Korea in 10-15 years. Or we can have our own Gyungsangdo version of Joey Barton who was raised to hate and beat up foreign faces like Ibrahimovic. So much fun awaits us :)

That is alot to take in. I don't why you would want a Joey Bartonesque player. He's more annoying than entertaining.
