For some reason a journalist (south east asian journalist apparently) asked Henry about Asian football during a conference. A sports Chosun reporter was there and wrote an article about it "Asian players try very hard to make it to Europe but it's very difficult. Is there a solution to this problem?" This was his response. "I can't agree with saying Asian players don't make it in Europe. Look at Korea or Japan. Many players are already playing key roles at their European clubs. Even in Barca there're many Asian youth players. Asia is already paving its place in international football. " He commented specifically on Korea. "For football in a country to develop a domestic league is a must and a youth system needs be well organized. This is apparent in Asia and Korea in particular. With a strong league and youth system many players have made it to Europe. With the help of those players they've gotten good results in the world cup.
