that's a bummer. hope it's not much more serious than that. I'm not too happy about that coach - don't want to jump to conclusions, but if he looked like he was playing hurt, perhaps should've subbed him out way earlier.
At least the knock came right before an international break. He won't have to travel and will have time to heal/rest up.
I guess they're still investigating. http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/ja-cheol-koo/augsburg-grosse-sorge-26014280.bild.html Frankly augsburg is so terrible its hard to tell if Koo was playing hurt, badly or well.

There's no cure for brain damage... Anyway, back on topic, KJC's ankle has been weak for awhile. Remember last year when he was stretchered off after practice? But if surgery isn't required, then he should try to just rehab it...
Not taking Uzbeks lightly but seriously...do we need KJC's services now in order to have good results? I hope not.
I presume he'll do rehab and only be out a few weeks. I think the last time he did it, he came back in half the time... probably too fast.
Think the korean articles said that if he takes the surgery route, he will be out 3 months, and rehab route will be 6-8 weeks. Any medical experts? on the diff between surgery and rehab? I would imagine rehab would have bigger chance of re-injury but I have no clue as to the dangers. Hopefully someone who actually knows what they are talking about knows this, instead of people who talk out of their ass
I presume surgery would be the safer route and am hoping he doesn't rush back onto the pitch. He needs to take his time to recover 100%.
Gutted ... this was supposed to be his season too .... We won't have him for the Iran WCQ game either ...
