well.. Kiu certainly has work-rate and pace. not too sure about his 1st touch but he did play behind the striker today.

I guess someone asked why Kiu wasn't in the squad for the Bs but I can't decipher translation but it seems Kiu still well thought of by new B manager.

yupp i've seen articles about Teerasil. he's a legit player. money might have a factor but i wouldnt be surprised if he turned out to be the biggest player from ASEAN by a huge margin

He gave the Australian national team trouble in the WCQ 2014. He also kind of joined Man City back when the club was owned by the Thai PM.

the ASEAN is getting domestic fan support that the K-League Classic would drool over. don't look down on them just yet. give them 10-20 years and more financial backing, you'll see some interesting results. BSK members dissed Chinese football in the past but now they mean serious business domestically. we aren't seeing any recent results that prove they're getting better internationally but they did manage to break the Konghanzheng "curse"

I believe Pablo Aimar recently joined a Malaysian club as well.

Teerasil Dangda can come to the k-league if he wants. Imagine the shirt sales ;)

Yep, that's what all top league in Asia must consider. Irfan bachdim of indonesia will played in V.Kofu in the J-league1. this only as a marketing strategy I think but he also an exceptional talent that indo's had.

From what I know, it could be because the B teams in Spain aren't exactly reserve teams. B teams are semi-independent, and usually the team is a mixture of A team youngsters and a B team players who are signed to form the regulars of the team and not move up to the A team. So since Kiu is constantly moving between the A and B team, which might explain his status as a sub for the B team.

perhaps Kiu will make the bench this weekend

anyways, Kiu & Hicham.. supposedly their top 2 prospects are just 1st team practice players lately. neither are playing for Almeria B except as late sub cameo at times but consistently training with 1st team.

    Still training with 1st team.

There's a mix and certainly the manager of the B team appears to have his own preferences, and will have more authority given their battle vs relegation. That said, it would be weird to think that player 19/20 of the senior squad couldn't have more of apositive impact for B team, even as a sub.

i think it's safe to say Kiu (and Hicham) is practice/fringe player for Almeria 1st team.

Has Kiu been capped yet? At 18, he would belong to our current U-20 squad. Or is he just out of radar for KFA?

Kiu really hasn't even been playing for Almeria A or B squads so would be off radar anyway
