this is really disappointing by Cardiff & Kimbo. with Fulham possibly getting a win vs Norwich, Cardiff must get a result today to keep any hope up of staying up.. otherwise, they are going down with Sunderland & Norwich.

I don't really see why Ole is doing this. Almost week it's been a completely different squad from the last.

FWIW.

I thought Kim Bo-kyung had a good game as well, but there is something slightly frustrating about the South Korean.

Kim has bags of skill and is very creative. He produced a real couple of moments of magic against the Saints and at one point left a man standing with just a moment of skill.

But he has got to turn that on a lot more often than he has been for Cardiff.

A player like that needs to be looking at 30 to 35 games a season where they make a real impact, where they have an effect on the game and Kim right now does not do that often enough for me.

I was watching the Liverpool against Manchester City game and you look at a player like Coutinho and what he brings to the Reds.

Now, for me, Kim is as talented as the Brazilian, but Coutinho produces game in and game out. He might have an off-game now and then, but then he is back on it and that is what Kim needs to do for City.

I had the same when I was 19 playing for the Bluebirds, you just are not aware of the intensity levels required, but when the penny drops you do get it.

Somebody needs to sit down with Kim and explain his responsibilities at the club, what is expected of him.

This summer his task is to go away and bulk up and improve his physicality, if he is going to become the player he can be he is going to need to be able to handle being targeted by opposition players.

Whatever division the Bluebirds are in next season the South Korean can be a catalyst for success for them, I’m convinced of that.

May not have had the season that he wanted, but this blogger notes that he might be worth scraping off Cardiff's relegated corpse:

Kim Bo-Kyung: Aston Villa have been looking for an attacking midfielder for quite some time now. South Korean 24 year-old attacking midfielder Kim Bo-Kyung is valued at £1.65m and under contract only until June 2015 so he looks a decent transfer prospect.
