Chong doesn't represents a minority opinion here. I, and many other posters at BSK, are very excited about Ki's move and look forward to Swansea annihilating/murdering/killing/crushing/eviscerating Arsenal and that cun.t. Wenger.
Getting a Green Card in the United States is easily one of the most (if not the most) difficult and laborious processes for an immigrant. That's why I hate when stupid Americans who are born here don't dismissively say "Oh those illegals should just become a citizen the legal way." They have no clear understanding of the process and only make me hate them when they say that. I remember when I was interning at a lab at UCLA's Medical School my freshman year, our lab was full of internationals (French, Italian, Mexican, Ireland, New Zealand, etc.) and the guy from New Zealand got a Green Card. It was huge. He said he had been trying to get it for years and he finally got it. Now mind you, this was a guy with a PhD, contributing to society, paying taxes, etc. It's absurd sometimes.
hmm..... It took my parents 3 years, and they just got it recently..... Although I understand that it takes others years and years.
축하드립니다!!!!! What an awesome day. Go give your parents a hug and tell them you love them. I, for one, don't say it enough to mine. I hope Ki will get a lovely reception and PJS scores against Norwich today to put the cherry on the sundae. Congratulations.
It took our family 11 years for legal immigration to be granted through invitation by family. Cannot even imagine how that'd be like while living in the States. So really, congrats soccerboy37.
Well thanks for the tip. Are you sure about those results ? When reading you, it seems as Swansea has been outstanding. I mean, you must have a selective memory, because I have a sheet in front of my eyes saying this : Manchester City 4 - 0 Swansea City Chelsea 4 - 1 Swansea City Blackburn Rovers 4 - 2 Swansea City Tottenham Hotspur 3 - 1 Swansea City And the list goes on and on ... and yes, those results are from 2011. 15 losses, 11 draws and 12 wins. So, please understand my disappointment. I rarely open my mouth when they're not based on facts. Though, the part where I say it was Swansea's first time ever in the EPL, I was misinformed by another source, so thanks for rectifying that point. And don't misunderstand me, I sure hope the best for Swansea City, and I hope Ki makes me lie by having a beautiful season with them.
The below results are not that impressive either: Man U 8 - 2 Arsenal Blackburn 4 - 3 Arsenal Tottenham 2 - 1 Arsenal QPR 2 - 1 Arsenal Fulham 2 - 1 Arsenal Wigan 2 - 1 Arsenal AND Swansea City 3 - 2 Arsenal!!! I'm very excited about this transfer and look forward to buying my Swansea away jersey soon. Which leads me to ask.. anyone know what number Ki will be??
The lowest available number on the Swansea squad as of now is 24 (which was Joe Allen's number who recently transferred to Liverpool), so I think Ki will get either 18 or 24. The Swansea City kit look a bit bland to me, but I'll probably get a Ki Sung-Yueng Swansea jersey anyways if it looks like Ki will be staying there for a while.
So i get that privilege eh? congrats man. I was born in the US but I have witnessed firsthand how much this means to you guys.
I wonder if Laudrup began watching Ki at the Olympics this year, because if he is expecting that level of performance throughout the season, he's in for a big surprise. Ki has never consistently played well in any season.
Chong-soo, have you ever seen Swansea play? Swansea play a very pass-orientated game which is a massive upgrade from the longball you see some EPL teams play. Perfect for KSY. E.g. the 3-2 win against Arsenal: http://www.zonalmarking.net/2012/01/15/swansea-3-2-arsenal-swansea-outpass-arsenal/ If KSY was to move to the EPL, this is imo the best possible move in terms of playing style, playing time, etc. Learning under Michael Laudrup is another great bonus. NoMESSIn / footballchic: Kindly fuck off.
Woke up early because I'm still adjusting to EST. That means I'll get to watch Swansea vs West Ham! Stream links please!
08 - 27 matches 4 goals 2 assists 09 - 41 matches 4 goals 10 assists 10/11 - 33 matches 3 goals 11/12 - 41 matches 7 goals oh yea and he started 7 of 8 europa matches last season
Well we finished 11th in the league and how about some of these results: Swansea City 3-2 Arsenal Swansea City 1-0 Manchester City Swansea City 1-0 Liverpool Fulham 0-3 Swansea City And tell me, how many times have you watched Swansea City play? Because up until that post you thought Swansea City got promoted last season and didn't finish in 11th place of the Premier League.
Where are you all buying Swansea Jerseys from? Is there an american website where we can purchase from? The only website I notice that sells the jerseys are from Swansea's official website.
Did anyone catch the pre game? Did they parade around Ki? I only caught the kick off. ESPN announcer mentioned now Swansea's kits look like Real Madrid's, and did mention the Ki signing.
