One of the mods need to retitle this thread to Swansea City AFC, it's a must. Oh and btw, Fck you Wenger.

Some sources are saying Swansea paid 5 million pounds whilst others are saying 6 million pounds (still a bargain considering KSY's potential and calibre).

Regardless, if KSY performs (which he will), you can bet other clubs will want to get their own KSY on the cheap.

Yeh either way and that's a good deal. I'm pretty sure it's £6 million but i'm still very happy with that.

Hopefully he'll play Tuesday, can't wait to see this guy in action.

We also could possibly now go for the 4-6-0 shown by Spain and Barca as a Plan B with the options we have in centre midfield thanks to the arrival of Ki which would be interesting.

    Vorm
    Rangel - Chico - Williams - Taylor
    Britton
    De Guzman - Ki
    Dyer - Michu - Routledge

he's wearing the same shirt he wore to the olympic team gathering in korea.

him holding the home kit makes it so much more appealing to me. i want one!

Talking about ki's 'potential' all this time. Now, he must deliver in more consistence base. Beginning of the last season, I remember Ki going on a roll for quite sometime and for certain parts of the season, Ki was on the bench. Swansea may be the obvious logical and the right choice for Ki now, but I have expectation way higher then this team along with Koo, and to move to bigger club with champiOnsnleague aspiration in the next two yrs.

Do you know who Swansea's designated PK taker is? I'm kinda hoping KSY gets the job ...

Last season it was Scott Sinclair, but he looks like he is going to be sold so at the moment it would be Danny Graham, who's scored both of his two penalties (one in the league, one in a friendly).

Ki could easily get that job if he's a good penalty taker, certainly burried his pen against Team GB in the shoot out.

    He's a great penalty taker.

When I saw it was KSY walking up to take our 5th against Team GB I knew we'd won the game. I can't remember the last time he missed a penalty, probably back in the K-League or something.

Remember when Ki brushed off Lennon's valuation and put a £6-7 tag on himself? He wa spot on.

Tbh though, I thought he'd fetch couple million more after winning a medal..

I second this. His penalties are as good as it gets IMO (power, accuracy, and confidence)

Has Ki EVER missed a penalty? I can't remember. Did he miss one for Celtic?

Do really think Graham is going to be benched? He seemed in good form against QPR, even if he didn't actually score.

So SSN says KSY will join formally once the work permit/international clearance procedures are concluded.

So he may not be able to play on Tuesday.

regardless £5 million - £6 million is a steel for a player of Ki's quality when you consider WHU have just forked out £10.75 million for Matt Jarvis. Well done Mr Jenkins and Laudrup. Hopefully he will play some part in the game on Tuesday evening.

No, he's going to be a real goal threat for us this season but i'm just saying that the 4-6-0 is an option.
