Politics aside, the KPL has finally taken a few positive steps towards leaving it's problems in the past. Keeping the past as the past, let's start fresh by following the ever growing football teams & players from the KPL & Harambee Stars.

    Lastest Story from the KPL....

KFF & KPL are uncertain of the status of KPL club team, Coast Stars. More info on the latest status of the Coast Stars can be found here.... http://www.eastandard.net/news/?id=1143981163&cid=2

While Coast did finish at the bottom, they were filled with some promising players. The Mombasa area is growing and so is the financial backing for the Stars, I hope they are able to stay afloat.... also, here's to the KPL & KFF not bickering over this one.

Up and coming National Team Matches.....

Coming off the freak loss against Burundi, the Harambee Stars managed to knock off Somalia and move onto the next round....

    30.05.08 Namibia Kenya
    06.06.08 Kenya Guinea
    13.06.08 Kenya Zimbabwe

Kenya has 3 promising strikers for the net 10 years so their attack is very lethal.

Dennis Oliech, Patrick Oboya, and Allan Wanga

then you have Mariga and Mambo-Mumba who are some sick midfielders so keep an eye out for Kenya.

    Oboya ^^^

Kenya has a good attack for the next ten years or so....... Oliech, Wanga and Oboya have the potential to be one of Africa's best attacks. We have a decent midfeild. What Kenya needs is to develop Defenders and Wing backs. If we can get a good defence plus what we have now, we could make some noise in CAF. The talent is there, but I'm not so sure about the KFF.

indeed...but they're developing very well by the looks of things with players being sold to South Africa now...so should be a task to beat Kenya these days.

Oct 10th... vs. Guinea ... win or draw and we're in for the African Nations Cup and step closer to playing in South Africa come 2010.

Can't remember the last time there was this much hope and positivity behind KFA and it's players. Life is good in Kenya.

2-1 Guinea.... we drop to second place in the group but still advance as part of the eight 2nd placed teams.

The season is over. They finished 8th. Not bad, but they could have done better. Mathare United won the league.

Does the Kenyan league has any famous players? I heard Rivaldo played his last season in Angola.
