Looks like we have another dual Yank-Norwegian to follow. Kenneth Di Vita Jensen is at Honefoss in the Eliteserien. http://yanks-abroad.com/get.php?mode=content&id=5976
Jensen came on as a substitute in Hønefoss's first game. It looks like he's going to get a shot to establish himself with the first team. Jensen was born on 7/22/90, so he's 19 and only a few months older than Mix Diskerud, who went 90 for Stabæk. Two teenagers getting time in Norway's top flight. Not bad.
It looks like he came on late against Hunter and Freeman and Start this weekend. It is good to see this kid get a few minutes with the 1st team.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenneth_Di_Vita_Jensen Unfortunately Honefoss are at the bottom of the Tippeligaen right now.
For most of the season, Di Vita Jensen has been getting garbage substitute minutes. Hønefoss' manager was canned at the end of June and since then they've gone a respectable 2-3-1 (W-D-L). Interestingly, Di Vita Jensen has been getting more PT under the new guy. After sitting out the first team games, he's now starting his fifth consecutive game right now against Mix Diskerud and Stabæk, apparently as a right midfielder. Jensen only just turned 20 in July. Norwegian League bottomfeeders like Hønefoss aren't that much to write home about, but he's young and probably deserves more than the zero attention he's been getting so far.
Jensen started and went 73 minutes in Hønefoss's 4-1 home loss in first leg of the relegation/promotion final with Fredrikstad. Apparently the Hønefoss goal came off a Jensen strike turned in by a teammate. The second leg is on the 25th. YA Steve Clark is the backup goalkeeper at Hønefoss as well.
Hønefoss picked up a 3-0 today which all but clinched them second place and promotion to the top division. They have a three point and 16 goal lead over third place Ham-Kam going into the final match day next weekend. In addition they are only 2 points behind first place Sandnes Ulf so they have a chance to claim the title. Jensen has played in about half of their games this season.
Hønefoss won on the road against Løv-Ham 5-2 last weekend. The win not only clinched promotion to the Norwegian Eliteserien, but since to Sandnes Ulf's lost gave them the 1. Division title so congratulations. Jensen was instrumental in the win going 63 minutes and scoring a hat trick. He ended the year playing in 16 games (9 starts) and scored 5 goals in league and scoring 2 goals in 3 starts in the cup.
Di Vita Jensen Takes Off At Honefoss He scored 7 goals this season, his 6th year as a pro despite only being 21. He says that he is still open to playing for the US; however, he has heard nothing, and that Norway hasn't called him in 3 years either.

Di Vita Jensen has been loaned to Ullensaker / Kisa in the 1. Division (2nd tier). He started and scored a goal on Wednesday. At Hønefoss this season he had no goals in 9 games (4 starts).
Scored again vs. Baerum SK on 10/14. He now has 870 minutes and 2 goals over 10 matches in Adeccoligaen play thus far this season, as well as 91 minutes in 2 cup matches: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/kenneth-jensen/leistungsdaten/spieler_44462.html

He played every minute of the relegation playoffs, but Sandes Ulf crushed his club in the final 1:7 over 2 legs.

He's moved to HamKam: http://h-a.no/Sport/HamKam/tabid/74/articleView/true/moduleid/228182/Default.aspx
It looks like he trained with HamKam at the very least, but since then he's also apparently played in a friendly for Moss FK. Moss are in the third tier. He's not listed on their website, so he may still be / have been a trialist.
