From the commentary: Robbie Keane (Ireland) hits a shot but it goes off target: Normal Now that wasn't a very nice thing to say about him!

KEANO to Liverpool in January????????????? http://www.caughtoffside.com/2012/1...galaxys-robbie-keane-on-short-term-loan-deal/ http://blog.fanatix.com/post/34641654846/liverpool-interested-in-dramatic-deal-to-re-sign-robbie MLS is rightly cristicised for being substandard, but Keane has been a big success in California, scoring 18 times in just 31 league matches and generally impressing with his sharpness at the Home Depot Arena. The 32-year-old also looked excellent during his brief spell at Aston Villa last January, so don’t rule out a return to the Premier League with Liverpool in early 2013.
I hope the sour taste from the beginning of this season puts the kibosh on any more of these off season loan deals. Not worth it. Not worth it. Not worth it.
If we have no LD (thus, Captain is gone), then Keane needs to be here as theoretically, he's our new Captain leading us into CCL. I was fine with this last year due to a whole host of reasons (notably because I thought we could beat Toronto and the vast majority of the team wasn't going anywhere), but this year with our transitions: Lamps potentially coming in, Omar potentially going out, LD potentially going out, plus a CCL game we SHOULD* win, he shouldn't go on loan. *should being the operative word
Adam Serrano @LAGalaxyInsider Arena in his usual form today. On what aspect of Keane's play has impressed him the most: "That his English has gotten a whole lot better."

^Those articles are retarded. Perhaps the reason he was left out is that his club expects to be continuing in the playoffs.
