A special shirt made by Gyeongnam for Kim Byung-Ji's 600th game. Jeonbuk ultras on their way to Busan. Some Busan players gave autographs before the game. Eninho's (left girl), Fabio's (Jeonbuk's fitness trainer/middle girl), and Leonardo's (right girl) daughters came to support their fathers.

Lee Bum-Young meets a fan of his who used to be a footballer herself but had to stop when she was diagnosed with a spinal cord infarction. It started when a relative of her's wrote about her story through Facebook and Lee Bum-Young saw it and wanted to find her, so he asked if anyone knew her through Twitter. Luckily he got responses and eventually he got her contact information. http://news.naver.com/sports/index....41&article_id=0002102664&date=20121014&page=1
Fan of the year. Pohang's Derek Asamoah trying to win a place in the AFCON 2013 squad for Ghana. http://sports.pravdaradioonline.com/pohang-striker-asamoah-eyes-a-place-in-ghanas-afcon-2013-squad/
You have to wonder...Asamoah always being a key player for Pohang, why other K-League clubs do not bring in an African player...is it racism or simply because there is no room for them since Brazilians/Aussies are the top priority? And I can't imagine their salaries to be too expensive...
I don't think it's racism. My guess would be that it has more to do with the lack of scouting system in Africa for K-league teams.
I was soooooooo surprised by this when I got up in the morning. He surely has grown mature. It was only days ago when the majority of the news comments were derogatory but now it seems like they've all started to like him again. Even the coach may be willing to forgive him. [Coach Ha Seok-Ju says "LCS's crime was not that calamitous"] http://sports.media.daum.net/soccer...wsid=20121021154507962&path=/v/§ionName=v
LCS getting back into the NT would be the greatest comeback ever...I will surely have his name printed if that occurs
doesnt have chance in hell. he wasnt very good his last 2 seasons and now doesnt even play. he should just play in K-League 2 next year and go out with a little dignity.
good idea. K-League 2 needs any popularity they can muster...have star players like LCS and LKH is going to be beneficial. And addition of Anyang is also a big plus. Hoping to see Bucheon 1995 next year as well.
Disappointing...like many of you guys, I will forever remember LCS for WC 2006, esp Switzerland game. Actually, it was after then when I started following football. Guy still pulls on some heart strings, coz after seeing those pictures I immediately began thinking like any other Korean fan who has absolutely no knowledge of K-League or domestic football news. So, in advance, I apologize if these are petty questions. There's absolutely no way in hell he'd kill it in the K-League? Seeing that he's 31 now I don't even wanna think he'd make it in 2014, but it'd be nice and refreshing to see some youtube highlight videos of him tearing it that aren't 3-4 years old.
the difference is that only thing that stopped LDG from playing was injuries...he was still playing professional ball in England, Korea, even if it took him awhile to get in form (actually the last 3 years has been LDG's best). LCS hasn't played competitive game in about 3 years. It would be hard and he use to dominate the K-League but i really doubt he could step in and score 15 goals in a K-League season. At least not right away.
Pohang's celebration right after they won the FA Cup. Jeonbuk players encouraging the students that are taking the 2013 수능 test. (One of the many reasons that why I am thankful I did not go to high school in South Korea.)
Great news. So I guess we're up to 7 teams confirmed for the K2 next year: Chungju Hummel Goyang H Anyang FC Bucheon 1995 National Police + 2 relegated teams from K1.
