Some good news -- The Steelyard pitch is having a whole new reconstruction. Its the first time since 10 years that the Steelyard will have a new pitch. For the next 6 games Pohang will play in 포항종합운동장. Terrible, terrible... http://sports.media.daum.net/soccer...eid=1027&newsid=20130905145314497&p=SpoChosun
FT: Daegu 0-1 Jeju (Seo Dong-Hyun '37) In Rainmaker we trust. Chunnam vs Gyeongnam and Seongnam vs Daejeon still on, 1-1 and 0-0 respectively.
Good to see Hwang Eui-jo back in form. Could have scored few goals, some amazing ones actually. Hit the post and earnt Seongnam's PK today.
Finally...Jeonbuk sent back to their place. Their shitty defence finally being exposed again. Letting Park Sung-ho score a brace lol Jeonbuk 0 - 3 Pohang
Wilkinson falling on his ass, as usual. Why some folks here in BSK think he deserves a NT call-up is beyond me. Wasn't Australia's recent 6-0 loss to Brazil in the WCQ not humiliating enough? Great play by Pohang, typical defending by Jeonbuk.
More like "it's the same as..", I haven't seen anything special from him other than some flashy goals recently, and I couldn't care less about the goals seeing as a DF should be evaluated by how well he can protect against them. Whereas Sasa Ognenovski is an ACL MVP / ACL-winning former Seongnam skipper and is one hell of a central sweeper. I haven't been following his performance since his move to the Qatari league, so I won't speak on his current state. But if it's true that he's not his former glorious self, him still being called up to the Aussie NT is a bit like Noh Byung-Joon still being allowed on Pohang's starting lineup. A colorful history triumphs in the managers' eyes.
That was like 3 years ago. He has been steadily declining ever since 2010 and moving to the Qatari league only made it worst. He is past his glory days (or by his nickname the "Og Monster").
That's too bad, he was one of my favorite defenders in the K-League, right up there with Hong Jeong-Ho and Mato. I still remember the joy of creating formations based around him (ie. 5-3-2 or 4-1-4-1) back during the FIFA Online 2 days.
1-0 Seoul. MOLINA!!!! 1-2 touch passing in the box by Dejan and Ko Yo-Han. Ko Yo-Han finds a open Molina.
I didn't even score the goal, but after Koh Myung-Jin scored that goal I felt like doing the Balotelli.
