Marchisio and Vidal are different players than Schweinsteiger. And De Rossi is still better than Marchisio.
De Rossi has the ability to impose himself on a match more. He is a charisma type player. Marchisio really is not that, he fades into the woodwork until he pops up with a crucial play. It's hard to compare them. In terms of getting forward and into the box, Marchisio does far more than De Rossi has in many years. Today's De Rossi is more like Pirlo than Marchisio in a sense.
Obviously, you haven't seen Matri's girlfriend. anddd all this Marchisio vs De Rossi argument is BS as it's obvious Marchisio has been better since the start of last season. As for the De Rossi constantly being courted...theres never been any confirmed offers for him right? Yet Marotta has confirmed high bids for Marchisio and Vidal this past summer. With that being said, I think we should swoop for De Rossi now that hes no longer unsellable.
LOL, you're really basing who's better on confirmed bids? We don't know if a bid is confirmed or not, just because Marotta said he rejected a bid doesn't mean it's true. Roma reportedly rejected a bid for De Rossi this summer, we have no idea if it's true or not. Marchisio was a tale of two halves last season. He came out firing on all cylinders, rushed up the scoring chart then just fell asleep. The second half of last season he was easily one of the players that disappeared the most.
I'm not basing shit on bids, one of the De Rossi defenders brought that up, not me. but anyways, I disagree. Marchisio, although he mostly goes unnoticed at times, is essential to our midfield. Most underrated midfielder in Europe imo.
Still, basing it on confirmed bids, when we really don't know if it's true or not, is a bit silly. I do believe he's underrated by many, but I'd still rather have a De Rossi in our midfield if I had to choose between the two.

i dont know what u guys talking about marchisio disappearing....just cuz he doesnt score doesnt mean he's not there...he does a lot of little things and he's all over the field. there is a reason he is rated so highly and if you check those STATS on the article i posted u can see how wrong u are about him disappearing....if he was that type of player he wouldnt put up better stats than the so called world class players u guys worship

Alessio has to be one of the most boring coaches on the sidelines. I think the team played better under Carrera for the most part. He had the energy and enthusiasm. He was always on the sidelines barking orders, Alessio seems to just stand there and half the time he looks confused.
