"I did consider the MLS but the (league) did not consider me," Morales said.

Morales did try out for the Earthquakes this past January.

"I think the coach (Dominic Kinnear) liked me," Morales said. "He asked me to enter the supplemental player draft and maybe I could sign as a developmental player. But I felt coming back to Europe would be better for my development. I would love to play MLS sometime in the future, especially for the Quakes."

MLS may be in his future, but for now the skillful forward, who recently scored two goals and notched an assist for Ølstykke, during their successful battle to stave off relegation, sees Europe as the place to be.

"The game is faster, more technical, more tactically advanced. It is superior (to MLS) in every way," Morales said. "In Europe you learn to play world-class soccer and that is what our (national team) players need if we are to be successful in the World Cup."

Maybe Quakes could use him now that injuries are mounting and national teams are calling.

Please. This guy is scoring goals for one of the worst 1st Division sides, after sitting on the bench in the Danish Premier League. MLS is far superior to Danish 1st Division football. This guy could clean Wondolowskis jockstrap here.
