OK, Guarin, although he had a misrable time in France, then in POrto, until he got his chance. so what, we are 1 out of...? Quintero didn't get too much playing time in Colombia and I hope he'll do it this tournament. So far all this talking is far from being realistic, when Napoli will be serious we can discuss it again.

Luis Muriel in half a season did way better then Quintero. And yet, he had good season in Lecce, let's see if he continue with it this season with Udinese, if he'll get his chance.

Juan Fer is an awesome player but to be honest we just don't have the space for him with MAc10 and Mosquera in the squad. Especially with the way Osorio plays. I think it would benefit everyone if we sold Quintero. I would love to have him stay another season but I just don't see any playing time for him and a player like him needs to play. They plan that Napoli have is to buy his rights for around 2 mill and then Loan him to Pescara where I'm sure he will have stating position.

    ^My thoughts exactly.

Just heard that Quintero was allowed to leave the sub-20 concentration to review the contract. Looks like it's going down.

Awesome transfer very happy for the kid. If he and Ortega can make it in their clubs would be huge for the NT. At Nacional he has Big Mac, Mosquera, Hurtado to compete with. Hope he becomes a more box to box player than a selfish #10

he cannot be like Guarin Crzd, he also doesn't have the body to become a box to box player, he is not physical enough. He is a creative midfielder who can play either in both flanks or in the middle and when he played in Nacional or Envigado he did an awsome job. anyway, I wish the kid all the luck, he is very talented.

Guarin was a CF in the sub 17..... just saying. The kid is young and things can change. Ortega is a #10 and in Germany they are trying to make him a box to box MF like Ballack.

HUH?!?!? What sub-17 did you watch? Guarin always played as a DM, yes even in the sub-17. In Porto he learnt to attack more and becomes an awsome 50-50 midfielder. Ortega has more chances to become 50-50 midfielder then Quintero.

Theres no way Quintero can play as a box to box midfielder. he's just not built for that. and didn't Guarin learn to attack more in France and then turned into a DM in Porto??

but he's always been attack minded i remember him wasting shots in Boca too.

On the Quintero thing, you never know, do ppl remember the legs Rodallega had before he left to Europe, i mean the guy was walkin on his arms. He's certainly a more physical player now, it could happen to a lot of Colombian "unfit" players.

I remember Guarin playing central or attacking mid for Envigado. At Boca he put on some weight and became a better tackler than he had been. St Ettienne started out using him as an RW believe it or not. Then Pinto and Porto forced him to play as a straight up DM, where he didn't fare very well. Finally AVB came along and put him where he's had the most success, B2B on the right.

    Players can and do evolve.
I wouldn't rule it out either. There were moments this season where, having to share the field with Macnelly, Juanfer was pretty good from a slightly more reverted position than he's used to. With a little work I could easily see him becoming a Luka Modric type of midfielder. It all depends on coaching really.

Um unfair man he nutmegged, took their free kicks, had 2 good shots at goal where he dribble pass all the defenders at Inter. All the announcers were very pleased by him. He was just in a way inferior team against one of the top 3 in the league.

Very very pleased with this kid and glad he left Nacional. He will def get more playing time in Italy then at Nacional. I can easily see him starting next game after todays preformance. This team just needs a CF badly

Great that he was given the oportunity to play that there was no "Uribe in Chievo" -deal where they let him play 5 mins every 10 games.
A little selfish at times I hope he's not gonna get axed for errors he commited and that he can play more relaxed next game.
