It's ridiculous to compare him to Edwin Cardona. What a wonderful player, was MOM yesterday with no doubt. Beside the amazing goal, he was everywhere, played like a great "10", finding his friends and showed one more time what a great skill he has in his legs. On one hand, he is in a difficult situatin because we don't have a place for him in the midfield, but on the other hand, due to our CL, he will play alot this season and I expect to see him representing Colombia as soon as possible. But let's give the kid his time, I'm sure he can be a hell of a crack. Btw, does anyone knows how much did we buy him and for how long?

The way he's playing I would just put mosquera on top with Pabon and Macnelly with Quintero behind them. That attack would be no joke. He's nowhere near ready to be called up to the National team yet. But Im sure he will be called up to the sub-20 soon. Kid is a crack. Nacional probably got a bargain from Envigado for this kid, and in the summer we are gonna get Yulian Mejia from envigado who is beast also.

Envigado has become a factory of classy players the last couple decades. Makes many Antioquenos proud I imagine.

Anyway, I will keep an eye on this Quintero kid. Have not seen much of him but from what you guys are saying he has some real potential.

Why not? Both are young insanely promising and play for Nacional. Have good free kicking ability, shots, and crossing. Difference is one hasn't let fame and his ability get to him yet. I can see both of these guys abroad in a season or 2.

Cardona is not as agile or the dribbler Quintero is.

The kid looked pretty good tonight coming off the bench. Had some nice moves, nice passes, and hit the cross bar on a free kick that could have potentially won the game.

Yes, he's very talented. I hope he'll start on Sunday vs. DIM, now that Pabon won't be able to play for the next two weeks.

Yes, we all know that Napoli wants to buy him and then loan him to a smaller Serie A club, I think it's Pescara. It can be great for Juanfer but to be honest I prefer that he'll spend another 6 months in Colombia and actually play, then to go to Italy ( and he won't play there) before he even proved himself in Colombia.

WHY !!! Pibe I like your comments but sometimes your crazy when it comes to NACIONAL!!! This kid isn't 1/3rd as talented as Cardona who we waited a year to sell and ended up at fing Santa Fe on fing loan!! Quintero in Italy will learn how to run and defend. It will only make him a better player and NT worthy. If he fails he comes back to Colombia any way a slightly better player. Our players who fail abroad are because they can't hack it, not because like some of you think coaches are racist. I always laugh when I hear that as the excuse for JJ Pinos shit career like if the posters are his mom.

Colombian players lack dedication and many aren't as hard working as they should be because of their talent. A foreign team doesn't put up with this bullshit this is why Wason Renteria, Tessor Moreno, Jhonneir Montano and Juan Pablo Pino are huge fing failures even with being some of our most talented players in the last 10 years.

Crzd, name one player that barely played in the domestic league before he moved to Europe and succeed there. Even James & Falcao needed to prove themselves in Argentina before move to Europe.
