I agree with that statement. I just get the sense that they would be completely shocked by the atmosphere at, say, Mexico - U.S. or Mexico - Argentina in the Azteca.

    Jozy subbed around 85'.

OT: I'm not sure that 'great atmosphere' is an accurate description of what goes on in CONCACAF away matches in places like Costa Rica and El Salvador. The dominant flavor of those games comes from the bags of urine the fans throw...

Feyenoord won 1-0. The current table is below.

AZ has been officially eliminated from the title race. Second gets a Champions League qualifying round place, and AZ now have a bit of work to even finish there. PSV are guaranteed at least a Europa League Place as cup winners. As things stand now, the next two best place teams go to the Europa League and then 6-9 will take part in the Europa League playoffs for the last spot. If PSV finish second, Heracles (11th) will go to the Europa League as the cup runner-up along with 3rd and 4th. The Europa League playoffs would then be 5-8.

    Code:
Pos	Team Pld	W	D	L	GF	GA	GD	Pts
    1	Ajax (TQ) 32	21	7	4	88	35	53	70
    2	Feyenoord 32	19	7	6	63	34	29	64
    3	PSV (Q) 32	19	6	7	79	46	33	63
    [B]4	AZ 32	18	7	7	62	34	28	61[/B]
    5	Heer'veen 32	17	10	5	73	53	20	61
    6	Twente 32	17	9	6	77	38	39	60

    Run in:

    Feyenoord: vs. Heracles, @ Heerenveen
PSV: vs. ADO Den Haag (15th), @ Excelsior (18th)
    AZ: @ NEC (10th), vs. Groningen (13th)
    Heerenveen: @ Twente, vs. Feyenoord
Twente: vs. Heerenveen, @ VVV Venlo (16th)

    I live in Spain.

Most Spanairds think that any other country outside of Spain thinking they can play futbol is just silly.

Brazil and Argentina are slightly on the map.

England, Germany, and Italy are contenders. Everything else is back ground noise and worth laughing at or ignoring.

I always tell my friends that the US will eventually win a World Cup, I usually get condescending stares or just laughter. When I point out we were in the final 8 in 2002, and won our group in 2010 they are completely ignorant. They almost can't believe it. Really?!?!, they ask.

I can't speak for the rest of Europe (the Brits I know are a lot more knowledgeable and generous) but in Spain, if it ain't from Spain, it is crap.

Well by how things are looking for them, Spain will soon not be in Europe anymore :)
