This Moreno clown has to absolutely tear up the league for this transaction to be worth it. Being merely 'good' doesn't cut it after this saga.

I love how, after the years of failure in the international player market, especially with the current GM, it is somehow the player who is the douche in this case.

Because he signed a loan deal here and almost immediately tried to back out of it then he shows up at least 3 weeks late and out of shape. Where have you been?

and that is my point: With the history of failures and debacles with this front office, and the fact that we don't have all the facts in this story, how can we possibly blame the player for being a douche? Mike Burns has a laundry list of blunders that could very well be looked upon as evidence as him being at some sort of fault.

So, where the hell have you been?

But, you forget that Moreno has a history of douchiness as well. Its a case of a douche GM enticed by a douche player. I'm already counting down the days until this guy washes out. Unfortunately, we'll probably need a fire hose of vinegar water to remove Burns. Washing out that bacteria would leave all Revs fans with a fresh, clean feeling.

I'm not crazy about where the Rev fans fit in this metaphor.

    Burns is the Big Douche.

But, until and unless better data comes to light to explain Moreno's actions, he seems like a little douche. No deep history, just the (apparent) desire to back out and (again apparent) foot dragging on getting to his new team.

Of course Giant Douche Burns, or Supreme Douche in Charge Biello could produce some details to better explain the Moreno saga.

He's had a history of not getting along with managers when he wasn't getting PT.

    lol you medical people. :)

Even after the Burns have been treated, would suggest it will still take significant time to heal the deep wounds of this franchise.

I hope Moreno is worth the wait.

After 3 games, our 3 forwards (Sene, Brettschneider and Cardenas) have combined for 4 shots, 1 shot on goal (the goal).

Just as a comparison, Kei Kamara had 11 shots, 5 on goal (1 goal) in last night's game alone.

But you didn't quantify the fact those forwards are trying real hard! ;)

Quality up top - now you're asking for A LOT. Blooter Burns can only work so many miracles at this paygrade! :p

I say our biggest need is a DP GM.

Was Moreno at the game saturday? Revs could probably have hyped this up. Put something up on the Scoreboard or show him up on the jumbo. "Revs Fans please give a warm welcome to the newest New England Revolution signings, Jose Moreno and Flo Lechner!"

Probably would have been more like ""Revs Fans please give a warm welcome to the newest New England Revolution signings, Flo Lechner and Jose Mo... oh God damn it, where did he disappear to now?" :D

Given the ~800 posts on the subject, I'm sure you would not have been alone.

Let him get a few road games to show what he can do, win over some fans with his play.

Do the majority of non-fort fans even know what is going on? I don't think the North Attleboro U10 girls team dislikes moreno that much for his transgressions... But I haven't ventured out of the fort in years, maybe the general fan education has improved?

I don't know if education about the players has improved but I was in the morgue on Saturday and felt like the average fan in my section was more passionate and into the game than years past.
