Agreed, although painful that we are the brunt of the jokes... Sometimes I think the Revs are counting on getting a huge do-over when they get an SSS and until then - just gonna chug along.
Think about it.....if the FO comes out now and says something, the look like idiots for not nipping this in the bud back in Feb when the rumors started and for signing him to a loan that started a month later. If they sit silent like they are doing, they look like the idiots who signed a guy a month an a half ago and have no idea where he is..... As awesome as this is,,,,,its sad and pathetic at the same time
I'm Leonard Nimoy, Please join me as we go In Search of Jose "Pepe" Moreno the old timer will remember this one
Has anyone told Burns that you are allowed to buy the plane tickets before the flight is scheduled to leave?
Great news about Lechner. I thought he wasn't expected here until April(which likely meant August). Would be nice to have him available next week.
If in fact this is true then its good news, especially on the Lechner part, maybe we can throw him right into the lineup Saturday if the paperwork is cleared. Lord knows the Revs need the defensive help. Moreno? I will believe it when I see it. I still down't get the Revs carefree attitude with this signing. Pure Bull crappola
Lechner and Moreno are coming in together? Does that mean that we'll lose Lechner if Moreno has another change of heart?
Another signing needed immediately but most likely not available until week 4 of the season. They got this one wrong too, just not as wrong.
Moreno has a quad injury per Kyle McCarthy. So he's gonna miss most likely 1/4 of the season AT LEAST. What a wasteful expenditure.
A waste of time much much more than a waste of money. Once the "he doesn't want to come here" flag got put out, the Revs should have cut their losses and looked for another player. Instead, they admitted they had no other plans to look for a Plan B striker and were committed to getting him here. It was tough to resist the urge to throw something at the computer screen after reading that.
Well he has been out a month already doing nothing. he should close to being ready to practice again depending on how severe it is
I feel for Lechner, first thing he has to do as a Rev is fly all the way to Bogota to make sure Moreno gets on the plane.
I don't think that even the staunchest Revs optimist can look at this whole debacle as anything but an embarrassment. But then again, I'm sure someone will defend this.
The Revs plan A seems to always be: Fail. So that would make plan B the actual plan A. So now that the Revs failed to sign Runstrom, and Moreno isn't coming back for quite some time, do we think they will actually attempt to sign another forward or will they just wait it out?
