Que bueno que metieron al Bofo y a Arellano para que no le quede la duda a Real de si meterlos de titulares para el siguente o no.

No shit, there is no business why these kats should be starting. They make a hell of a banca though. Real has options now.

To those who don't have any faith in this team ;)
Right now our best weapon is our youth, and Real is the best person for the job.

Cubo seems to be the real deal,Mora could've had a hat-trick in his debut:eek:
not bad though cause shots were on target,I really liked Gallardos play he had a couple of beatiful long balls and le pega con un tubo, overall I liked our play we had some beautiful first touch football along the bandas that was enjoyable to watch IMO,I'm sorry I really like Arellano but we've given him 3 years y de promesa no pasa las lesiones ya pasaron y el nivel nada mas no llega:( He will be benched (or should) real soon by these youngsters also Bofo gave us a championship and I love him for that but he needs to go asap.

We can be an even better club with a couple of refuerzos. Competition between our players will only make us better.

Pina lacks the final touch. the guy has speed and excellent ball control. it amazes me how he can pass by opposing defenders with relative ease, but in the end it's all useless if his crosses and shots are total shit.

    Bofo is done

i was very impressed by Mora today. despite his stocky appearance the guy is one fast dude. he was one of our most dangerous players today.

    Cubo is progressing very well

Venado had an excellent game also. he seemed very confident and built up the offense. acted like a natural leader out there with all these young guys surrounding him. i hope he can maintain this level.

Baez does not get enough recognition. he does a great job recuperating in the mid and build up attacks. possibly one of our most underrated players in the squad.

I saw a completely different Chivas out there. They had accurate, first touch passing, and they capitalized on mistakes and opportunities. The speed in which they played, in my opinion, was the money maker today. I hope we stay with the same lineup as today. Nice seeing Chivas dominate most of the game, about damn time. LOL

This Gallardo kid we've been missing for a long time. He reminds me of the time we had Ramirez. This dude can pass and hit the ball, y de primera. Mora looks legit as shit. He completely fixed our delantera; it was because of him that our whole team gelled. He made cubo and venado better. And boy, how about that speed? Im sure pachucas head is still spinning. We were mothereffing vicious fast and dynamic.

And all it took was 2 little kids to fix our team El Oh El.

Great to finally see the team perform as they should be playing every game. Very impressed by Mora and Gallardo. Cubo there isn't anything new to say that hasn't been said, he is a beast. Since his debut he never showed fear or lack of confidence, he went in playing like a total vet, and look how great he is progressing. Also Magallon as the LB was a great idea. Real needs to take great notes from this game, and not make stupid modifications and subs.

I'd like to hear more about what people liked in Gallardo. To me, his start was mainly to allow Baez move up.
You say tomato, I say tomato. I saw it more like the flexible 4-2-3-1 that Real has been going for when he kept on talking about getting Bofo more used to moving and interacting in the box and not so much on distributing the ball.

So here's what I found interesting about the game.

1-Mora in Bofo's role- He played slightly behind Cubo, but interchanged positions at times, and was more likely to make runs off of passes to Cubo. He has more of a nose for the goal than Bofo. On the other hand, Pachuca had no idea who he was or how to cover him at first.
2-Magallon at LB- Unless Escalante is injured, Real just doesn't like him as a player. He was brought in to be a starter last year, and Real went with Ponce instead. Now after a few weeks of starting for Ponce, Real feels having de Luna at CB and Magallon at LB is stronger than having Escalante at LB.
3-Gallardo start, Baez as RM- I'm assuming that if Enriquez was healthy, he would have gotten this start. Gallardo really is coming out of nowhere, being almost 22 and still playing in the 2nd division. The key here is Baez as RM, with some defensive responsibilities. If you watch the first half especially, you'll see that Baez in his new position allows Esparza to make runs down the right, and the combos between the two had Pachuca's defense look helpless (then again, who didn't).
    4. Medina can apparently play with the kids. Was it his teammates, or was it him paying attention Tue and Sat because Chepo was around?

So what to do about next week? The game completely changed when Bofo and Pina came in. Will the opposition catch on to Mora? Can Fabian play that role? Does Baez stay up or go back to DM?

    Bottom line, awesome win.

Oh, and in case VS is reading, Romo scored for Cruz Azul.:)

i want to see the same lineup as last nite's start against Jaguares next Saturday. hopefully last nite was not just a one time thing, because this team has been pretty inconsistent in the past year. i hope to see the same hunger and quick one touch passing next week and in games to come.

Chepo was at the game last nite. hopefully our guys continue to play as well as they did yesterday because i can definately see a couple of our guys being part of the Copa America squad.

if Fabian is healthy by next game, where would we place him in the lineup?

We don't. We keep him on the bench :p

    ----

I guess, taking out Baez or Venado would be the only two spot. I wouldn't mess with the line up just yet.
