What we learned from this game:

1 - Away games will be a bitch until the end of the season.
2 - There is no sub for Iniesta.
3 - Neymar can surely earn PKs.

Since it was unintentional (as you stated on mash), should it have been an indirect freekick too? Lol just ********ing with ya celito

lol I actually didn't quite get that - Masch grabbing Lopez' face, unintentional, thus indirect.
Tbh, I'm not sure what brings about an indirect free kick inside the box. [IMG]

It's a cliche, but it's true, at this stage of the season it's just about getting the result, not how you get it. It's wins like today that win titles.

Used to be unintentional hand balls. I guess all that's left today is a dangerous play like a high foot that doesn't connect ?

Missed the match, but I see we got three points in the Espanyol away fixture.

Seems the performance wasn't top quality, but at this point, results indeed are what matters. Good going.

I liked the part about how Barca should have been 2 players down.

Looking at the Masch replay, he knew what he was doing by swinging that arm. Although I am not completely sure it's inside the box. It's very close. Lopez looks to have one foot out planted and one foot across the line in the air.

They are also saying Neymar handled the ball on the PK but I saw the replay and I didn't see it. Looks chest to me. Would have been very tough for the ref to see that one if he did.

Who has less impact these days, Xavi or Xabi?

I thought that we started very brightly. Neymar needs to finish some of those moves though. Alves was a flashback 2008 Alves in the first 15 minutes. Then the match turned into a rugby match. Good three points in the end. Pique I thought played well today, but wth was Masche thinking there at the end?

Busquets has been sub-standard lately, it has to be said. He's a turnover machine.

Busi was uneven. He turned it over a couple times, but he also had some slick moves on the ball to switch the point of attack.

I can think of two instances in the 2nd half where he was really slick with the ball, but it was very high risk. Good on him for having that confidence but gee, one false move and they would have had some really good chances. I'd prefer to see him keep it simple in those situations.

Yep. I remember one that was very high risk and it worked but I would rather him not attempt that in that position.

I think Busquets role in the team(holding mid/defensive mid) belies the fact that dude is a very very skillful player technically. He is still very underrated IMO
