total disappointingly unlucky piece of shit game 1st half we were non-existent, but we stepped it up in the 2nd half. created many dangerous plays and had the most possession, but our final touch was shit. i liked what i saw from Gio Hernandez when he came in the 2nd half. El Maestro's subs were spot on. Fabian & Chapo had a good game. chinga tu madre pinche Oswaldo and seriously, WTF Ponce?! he screwed up big time in Santos' 2nd goal even though we lost, i liked what i have seen from El Maestro so far. i really do believe that within the next month our team will be firing on all cylinders and will be a force to be reckoned with. just please Vergara, DO NOT interfere with team/coach/player relations
Lady and Gentlemen, despite the disappointing result let us keep in mind that this is still a team in transition. Time is on our sides, provided Vergara doesn't lose his sh'te again. On that note I expect the Chiva supremo to let the Jedi council sort things out. Then, in about two years time, he will most likely start skull f'ing the team again.
Well even though we lost Im still optimistic about the season. I thought we played a good game but we let them score in key moments and we didn't finish our chances. The first half was bad, it took us too long to settle in, and we weren't able create anything offensively. The second half was different though, we created multiple scoring chances and dominated up until Santos scored their second game. Here's some the positives and negatives i got out of this game. Negatives Cortes was shit. He was getting beat 1 on 1 constantly and he almost cost us a goal when he missed a header in the early minutes. I dont want to see him start or play unless Ponce is injured. Cubo is not ready to start. The kid has talent but he gets pushed around too easily. His hold up play was really poor because he was never able to hold on to the ball. He needs to bulk up amd get some strength if he wants to play with his back to the goal. Positives I really like the way Cherokee Perez is pushing forward. He's opening up some space for Chapo so he can go 1 on 1 against his defender. I think the reason why Sanchez struggled so much last season was because he was always going up against 2 defenders since Esparza was never a threat going foward. We created about 4 opportunities off the right flank. Let's hope these guys keep playing well. Marco Fabian is showing flashes of what he can do when he plays his natural position. I can't wait till Sabah and Marquez Lugo come back. I don't think we'll have trouble scoring this season once these guys start playing together. Our young players are playing well. I thought Basulto and Alvarez did pretty good considering they only had a week of practice to pair up with each other. Im hoping they finally bench Reymoso this season. Gio Hernandez looked dangerous when he came in. I like the competition that's brewing him, Avalos, and Morales for that LM spot. We have a good future with these guys but they need first division experience first.
