I'll sign the draw considering Galindo barely started managing on Thursday. Toluca was pretty disappointing though. The lack of Sinha was noticeable.

Disciplinary issues are still big. I swear we get a red every two out of three matches.

    promising first half, disappointing second

not even a yellow for that dumbass Dueñas?!

anyway, not a bad start to the season seeing as how El Maestro only trained with the team for 2 days. Cherokee was having such a baller game until he messed up on that play that led to Toluca's goal. Sabah went from hero to villain, but i liked what i saw from him. we will surely miss him next week against Santos.

for the most part though, i liked what i saw

I'll probably be alone in this but if Fabian and Chaton feel that we're holding up their progress then they need to GTFO, we need them to play to their full potential and not these half assed performances that have been going on for a year now.

The Chaton and Fabian from the Olympics is like night and day to what they bring in Chivas.

Besides a couple of shots today Fabian didn't do much of anything, Chaton had 40 % of his passes going lateral and the other %60 going back WTF? again besides a couple of tackles he didn't do shit but probably think about how his girl dumped him.

I'm disappointed we did not get the win but I will take the point. The red card to Sabah was a little harsh IMO. Cherokee had a good game even though he gifted Toluca a goal. Chaton had a great game while Fabian had a very poor one. I liked what I saw from Avalos and I hope he can stay in the starting lineup. Overall I thought Chivas did okay, hopefully the team will keep improving.

We didn't seem to take advantage of all the possession we had. Very few shots on goal, think 3 total. Deserved outcome. Big ********up by cherokee, surprise.

    Players gave their effort though.

I agree about Fabian, Chivas should have just sold him and brought in someone to replace him.

I disagree about Chaton. Let's not forget Chaton's job is to defend and win back the ball. He is not the type of player that is going to create plays or provide assistance on offense. From what I saw today he did a fine job.

It's time to bench Fabian. Maybe that'll light up some fire under his ass.

I know he's not a creative type player but I counted a total of one forward pass today, and it's pretty obvious he plays well below his NT standard with us IMO.

Its good he didn't try too many forward passes because he's usually off. Chatons job is to destroy and keep it simple when he has the ball. He just doesn't have the technique to distribute the ball around.

Chaton had some very nice steals that couldv changed the game against our favor had he not been there. Defensively speaking he did great

While I agree on the defensive part do you guys really not see his level drop off with Chivas?

    For Chaton?

I see a bigger drop off for Fabian from the one we saw in Toulon although there he had Herrerra doing all the dirty work to get him the ball in good places.

I was pretty pleased with Chaton tbh, the NT has alot more depth and thats what we lack. The player that has been disappointing me is Fabian but its all too early to tell, I think he has to get used to all the changes then we can rate him. With how he has been I dont see any Europe move (maybe thats just me)

This was a good result given the opponent and the coaching change. :)

the game was frustrating as hell.

gonna suck without Sabah or RML next game. Fabian needs to step up big time.

I really like the refuerzos though,Cherokee played good and we know Sabah and RML are good Mexican League strikers expect good things from them both

Are we going to play with both of them at the same time?

    Positives:
Defense didn't look as shaky as last season, except for Cherokee's fack up.
    Ok first half.
    Sabah scored.
    We didn't lose.

    Negatives:
Shit second half. (Except for the last 10 minutes.)
Our midfield needs better link up with the offense.
Morales had his worst game with us so far.
    Sabah got red carded.

Overall the game was pretty bland. The midfield (especially Lucho) needs to do a better job of linking up with the offense. Fabian had to constantly drop back way too far to get the facking ball. The guy tries and tries regardless of the shit service he gets, and people still love to hate on the guy. He is and has been our best player for a long time now. Every game he is usually the player involved in about 90% of our team's jugadas de peligro.
