IMO he can play centrally in the midfield at any position. He's pretty versatile from what I've seen and I hope he can have a speedy recovery and at least gets a look at.
That's great news. I still hold that tiniest shred of hope but a lot of things need to happen asap for Jona to even get near the picture let alone 'in' it. Second best thing is if he moves on to another club and begins to get affiliated with the NT again so he be ready next WC. I just can't see him getting meaningful PT when he is coming off an injury. It was bad enough while he was fit.
With Sergi Roberto not making an impact that it was expected, and the promise that Tata made to Jona, I would think that in the coming months were there would be a lot of rotation, he would play at least a few games, taking into account also that Fabregas has played a lot as a forward and the three of Xavi, Iniesta and Cesc have been ending the last games. Of course there's a lot of wishful thinking in this post, but I have hope that he makes it.
Jona is a long-shot to even be looked at seriously for a world cup spot, I'm not even sure that Piojo would consider him if Medina, Zavala, and Chaton are all injured. Let's not forget that, with the top 3 teams neck-and-neck, Tata won't be likely to experiment too much with his lineups down the stretch. I wouldn't mind Jona being considered, but it seems extremely unlikely.
To be fair, others are doing it too.. What we consider gay is fair play over there in Spain. Hence that Thiago and Jona bromance...
Yeah m8s. Nothing wrong with a man sitting on another man's lap. Manny used to do it with his uncle when he was little. Naked.
