Also are these the only games that Hertha are playing? Or are there others and Brooks just hasn't appeared in them?
This is just the second preseason friendly Hertha has played since camp started about 2 weeks ago, both Morales (180 min) and Brooks (135 min) have played in those 2 friendlies. Also Hertha Berlin will play a friendly against Juventus on July 28 so that will be interesting.
According to Bshredder, JAB is now one tall dude: BshredderPost #1 Monday July 9, 2012 5:11am Joined Aug 2011 Total Posts: 101 Brooks is getting good minutes with Hertha's 1st team so far in the preseason. Good news. He's a good prospect but he just grew a ton last year and lost a little coordination. He's now 6'5 but apparently playing well. http://locker.yanks-abroad.com/?mode=topics&topic=107&page=1#post506
The post said he grew a ton last year and is now 6'5". I'm trying to figure out how big of a growth spurt he had. Growing 2" isn't a big deal compared to growing 6 or 7".
I posted on it a few pages back about his growth spurt to at least 6'5. He was easily taller Than a 6'3 ish keisewetter.
I'm not sure if I'm not conveying my question right or what. I'm trying to figure out how big of a growth spurt this was. What was his height BEFORE this spurt?
Great size!!! Does he look thick. Solid. Tight? Keep us all posted on his continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what he's got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight he can get.
You guys can see Brooks at 0:27 and 2:04 he has the #25 and is wearing the black and white Nike Tiempo Legend cleats, he is one really big dude also it looks like he has a new hair style.
This is an German article of Alfredo Morales and John Anthony Brooks hoping to make the 2014 WC team for the USA http://www.berliner-kurier.de/herth...ha-bsc-berlin-zu-klinsi,7168990,16574174.html From Google Translate: Morales & Brooks, 2014 World Cup dream About Hertha to Klinsi BERLIN -They carry the Hertha flag on the chest. But they are keen on another flag - the Stars and Stripes of the United States. Alfredo Morales (22) and John Anthony Brooks (19) to go with a new courage in the second division season. The young professionals knows that U.S coach Jürgen Klinsmann has them in its sights. The dream is the World Cup 2014 in Brazil. The U.S. Soccer Web site reported socceroverthere.com that can make both Hertha hopes of a commitment to the United States. Will be given opportunities when they play in coach Jos Luhukay in the second division. Defender Brooks, who currently plays in the U20 of the United States, laughs: "Of course one would like that. "In August, the United States plays against Mexico," He is waiting for a call from Klinsmann.Maybe true for both in two years, a World Cup dream.
I don't think so. He was about 6'4 last august. But he shot up a little more. He might be 6'5 1/2. But at least 6'5.
In that article it says the new coach at Hertha will give him a chance, I will be happy if he at least gets some PT as a sub.
Here is a bigger version of the pic I posted up earlier. Also its nice to see him and Alfredo wearing the same wristbands reppin the USA!
He's gigantic. Hopefully, if all goes well, he could turn into Gooch with some passing ability out of the back.
