Didn't look like it was his mark but he could have done better. At least it was another Germarican scoring.
There are highlights in the Wooten thread.

Sandhausen is about 5 miles from Heidelberg, where, according to a Google search, there is a TGI Fridays in the Patrick Henry Village (US Military).

I'm assuming this means very little for his American prospects.

ha funny, I can't read it either anymore. I could read it on my phone a few minutes ago. The headline is exagerrated, of course.
It basically said that Tab Ramos visited Hertha BSC a few weeks ago and presented a "concept" so that Hertha may release Brooks in the future (which they haven't in the past), and Hertha's manager Preetz was quoted with: "What they presented made sense" but Preetz still says: "We'd appreciate if he plays for the German National Team". The rest is just a translation of the NY times statement that he'd like to play for the USA and his answers towards German media which sound different. It also says that the German U20 just recently got interested in him, the USA was quicker.

I knew Hertha just didn't want their players playing for us.

They would probably just prefer their players didnt have to travel thousands of miles every time they get called up. I bet they'd have no problem with him playing for the US if our teams agreed to play all our games in Germany.

True and I agree. I'm just saying it's not an anti-American bias so much as an anti-traveling extremely far distances with regularity bias.

That doesn't mean I can't irrationally hate them.
