Seeing how we are getting a significant amount of famous, foreign players in our most important clubs, I thought it would be good to have a thread to talk about them and their exploits with their NTs as well as anything else related to them.

In the 2013 Brasileirao, we are going to have many famous ones such as:

    Atlético Paranaense
    Fran Mérida (Spain)

    Bahia
    Freddy Adu (USA)

    Botafogo
    Clarence Seedorf (Netherlands)

    Corinthians
    Paolo Guerrero (Peru)

    Flamengo
    Marcos González (Chile)

    Fluminense
    Deco (Portugal)
    Edwin Valencia (Colombia)

    Grêmio
    Eduardo Vargas (Chile)
    Marcelo Moreno (Bolivia)

    Ponte Preta
    Luis Ramírez (Peru)

    Vasco da Gama
    Carlos Tenorio (Ecuador)
    Yoshimar Yotún (Peru)

How in the world can you leave out:
Seedorf (Dutch national team player and FIFA top player) - Botafogo
Forlan ( Uruguayan national team and voted best player in 2010 WC) - Internacional
    D'Alesandro (Argentenian NT) - Internacional
    Guinazu (Argentina NT) - Internacional
Valdivia (Chilean national team) - Palmeiras
Montillio (Argentina national team) - Santos

    I mentioned him.

The rest are either not noticeable, don't ever get called for their national team, have never been fundamental in any other famous club of a combination of the above.

Did you watch the quality of that last WC? It is possibly worse than 1990.

The fact that Forlan was voted the best player of that tournament says it all...

Deco considered a foriegn player? Wasn't he born in Brazil and nationalized A Luso.?
If that is so put the Sheik and Zizao.
You would mention Adu over Forlan?

Deco is a foreign player by all means and purposes, regardless of where his mother opened her legs to give birth. He played for Portugal, after all.

Lol well, Marcos Gonzales just scored against the Selecao...

It is a bit of an eye opener seeing how easily Marcos beat Dede in that little duel. I don't like this at all...

Eduardo Vargas is also on the field.

    EDIT: Golazo by Eduardo Vargas...

Chile won in Asuncion 1-2 vs Paraguay with a golaso from Eduardo Vargas, further confirming that the Brasileirao, or better yet a Estaduai, can produce a world-class quality player that a European league and club almost destroyed.

Second goal was scored by Arturo Vidal.

Marcos Gonzales, on the other hand, almost screwed things up at the end when he gifted Paraguay a goal, with 2 minutes to go, in the same manner that Toninho Cerezo gifted Paolo Rossi in 1982...

    Wow, Flamengo...just...

Anyway, Yoshimar Yatun, Paulo Guerrero and Luis Ramires (Vasco da Gama, Corinthians and Ponte Preta) all started the match vs Ecuador and they all had a great game.

Marcelo Martins has made it more than obvious that he hates his teammates and shows no real motivation to play with players who aren't hungry. He was subbed out at the 63rd minute.

Walter Montillo played the first 56 minutes against Colombia until he was subbed out for Messi; Montillo had a good performance, albeit not great. Half the time, it seemed he was still trying to read what his teammates were going to do.

Marcelo Moreno was garbage in that match don't make excuses for him. The team was much better when he was subbed off so i don't see your point Santista. The rest are fair points.

I would feel the same if I were him, also. He is a winner and he is surrounded by losers. It gets aggravating after a while, especially when you know your chances of qualifying to the WC are almost nil at this point.

Eduardo Vargas, once again, proved decisive for Chile as he scored the first goal and provided the engine for their MF during the 2nd half.

Marco Gonzales still does not impress me. Sampaoli should have better options.

Marcelo Martins did what is expected of him although he seemed entirely out of focus during the entire match.

Guerrero and Yotun played although there was little they could do against Colombia. Guerrero has asked Corinthians to omit him from the friendlies the club has him down for. He is still recovering.

Yea I have been reading those threads since the beginning also. They actually have me rooting against him when I was indifferent before. I posted there Vasco game thread they had where Adu didn't play that one was just as crazy.
