    I'll give it a shot: John3628 doesn't think BostonRed's post was humorous.

Beat me to it. Note also the word rivals, not enemies (or worse).

Not funny because Herculez was playing with Santos Laguna at that time.

It's literally not funny though and that has nothing to do with nationalism or the fact I'm a Galaxy fan.

I thought it was kind of funny (after I got IMD's translation). Not like hysterical laugh out loud funny, but at least a grunt level of funny.

Herc would be the more likely one to promote some good natured rivalry.

Started for Tijuana and helped draw a PK. Tijuana beat Toluca by a score of 3-1.

Should be on the 30 man roster... starting round back in form. I have my doubts Klinsmann will call him though. Much better player than Davis

Corona and Castillo get the start vs Tigares.
Arriola, Garza, and Guido are on the bench.
Gomez not in the 18 for the second straight game.

Corona came off at 63' yesterday. Helped Tijuana Earn a 1-1 draw @ Tigres. A rare feat for TIJ with just 10 men.

1 year ago they played to a draw with 9 or 10 players and an injured GK, against a good Monterrey team. It was one hell of game to watch.

Different positions though. Corona was tried on the left in the Gold Cup and did nothing

Joe Corona: A true "ride or die" player -- not a term formally used to describe athletes, but fans in his age group and beyond could agree with the sentiment 100%. With his 24th birthday approaching in less than a week, he has been a big part of the heart and soul of this team and deservedly holds a respected veteran status; something rare among players his age. Aside from scoring Xolos' first-ever goal in the first division in 2011, he started 15 of 18 matches and both finals in the club's road to a first-ever title in 2012, made it to the quarterfinals with the club in their first ever Copa Libertadores run the following year, won the Gold Cup with the U.S. national team in 2013, and competed in Club Tijuana's first CONCACAF Champions League tournament in 2014. As he continues to hold down his position in midfield for Xolos, his resume and experience will serve the other Americans well as they look for a leader within the squad.

For Club Tijuana, left back Greg Garza was the only American starter, picking up a yellow card in the 54th minute and struggling for his usual consistency.
Joe Corona replaced him off the bench in the 83rd and went close to snatching a draw for his side deep into injury time, but Guemez’s cross from the right wing was just behind the 24-year-old, who put the shot over the bar.

Playing Club America right now. Set up a great play that lead to a penalty for Xolos

GUADALAJARA, Mexico – Joe Corona shined in his preferred playmaking role for Club Tijuana on Saturday, but couldn’t stop Xolos losing 2-1 to Club America, after Pablo Aguilar stole the points with a header in the 96th minute.
Corona – playing behind Tijuana’s two strikers – launched a long pass that led to a penalty, from which Xolos took the first half lead.
The San Diego native was bright and inventive in his general play before being taken off in the 77th minute and should’ve drawn a red card for América’s José Guerrero in the 35th, when the US international was brought down on the edge of the penalty area as he was bursting through on goal.

Joe played very well yesterday. He combined well with Dayro and Arango. He looked sharp and he went forward with the ball, much more direct with his game. Best I've seen him play. Drew a stone cold red card that the ref blew and had several good final passes through to his forwards.

Dayro Moreno and Arango are great guys to help influence his play--I hope he gets under their wing and learns
