The Barca and Man Utd kits look sharp from what I see.
Think The Arsenal need something else, just not doing it for me.

Either get rid of the red stripe on the sleeves (It seems like too much going on there) and just run with the black stripes and socks, or get rid of the black and swap the socks with the Man U ones there.

I don't know, maybe the black socks and white shorts would make us look too much like Man U but I could live with it. It's just the multiple stripes on the sleeves bothers me.

Also, it looks photoshopped anyway. The Barca kit actually looks nice, but they didn't even bother match the color of the socks to the rest of the kit. That's what gives it away for me.

By something else do you mean they should just remove the sorry sleeve extensions they added to last years shirt?

It's a joke if that's the real thing.

Don't like the rings on arms. I love the basic red with white sleeves.

    Love the crest, that's it.

I would love to see another modern version of this:

There are a fair few people in England that can't read English. I'm just wondering why they never used this version of their brand, as seen on the podium.

arsenal has basically had this look the last two kits. it's the damn sponsorship that ruins it.

Red shirt? Check. White sleeves? Check. It'll do. And I like the dark socks.

We've had two years' worth of a fairly basic home kit, so it's no surprise that Nike are starting to experiment a bit. And if it the shirt accents really are dark blue, that's a color we've used on the shirts in the past (my favorite of those being the 98-99 JVC shirt, which had blue stripes running down the sides). Granted, though, the double-stripes on the sleeves (triple, really, with the white) is an odd choice.

Regardless, it seems like a lot of people aren't going to be satisfied with anything Nike does. I'm sure when Chapman introduced white sleeves for the first time, somebody was moaning that it was the worst shirt ever. Anyway, we'll probably get another new home shirt next year.

Edited to add: Seems odd that, of the three shirts in that leaked photo, ours is the only short-sleeved one. I wonder how they'll handle the stripes for the long sleeves.

Not to me. What's the problem with it? I'd prefer it to "Fly Emirates."

I'm not sure that most people would necessarily associate "Emirates" with the airline.

    When?

Agreed. Nothing wrong with mixing it up for a season.

For some reason I remember them having that design and when Emirates was announced as our sponsor, there was a concern about that being the logo and we would be associated with Chelsea.

All the more reason for them to promote the logo.

I definitely remember this filth, but I can't remember when they used the script:

Still, better that than Coors or Autoglass, I suppose. Arseshirts.com had a "Fly Ashburton" shirt a while back, but I think they discontinued it.
