Glad to hear that they are quality. I'm having trouble deciding between the traditional pattern and the vertical stripe, which according to the website is longer.

With the rise of City, and Umbro and Nike's connection, along with the decline of mainstream starts at Arsenal, I would think that any renegotiation would be a negative one for Arsenal

    From the article:
Reds leaving Adidas for lacrosse company

    EDIT:

Wow, that really came out of left field.

And Scum are moving to Under Armour. That's new to me as well.

I never really liked Under Armour in the first place; all the more reason for me to avoid them. Mrs. Darth and I were shopping for running gear for the Marine Corps 10K, and I talked her out of the Under Armour section because of the Sp*rs connection. :D

I'd like to support UA because they are a local business to the DC region, but the Sp*rs thing is unfortunate.

I pray every day that Arsenal never get sponsored by UA. As much as I'd love to support a local brand (was born in DC), UA have hands down the worst designs from top to bottom.

In any case, let's hope Arsenal can cash in on Nike soon while they're still fighting it out for a place in CL.

They're a UMD creation, if I'm not mistaken. The constant embiggening of those uglier-than-homemade-sin throwball kits of theirs by UMD alumni back before the NCAA season started just got bloody sickening. Nothing against UMD besides the normal cross-river bitching; I went to Strayer, so I have no vested interest in terms of school rivalry, unless people from DeVry start to get mouthy.

I couldn't find a word more cromulent to the situation, so I went with my instinct, which revolves almost entirely around referencing The Simpsons whenever possible. :D

Anyone interested in this season's home jersey XL with "Wilshere" on the back? I've lost about 35 pounds since I ordered it back in the summer and it's way too big for me...had to break down and order a smaller size yesterday. Open to any reasonable offers..it's in great shape..I always wear a tshirt under my jerseys.

    Thanks for looking.

I saw an ad that World Soccer Shop is running a sale, not sure if it's any good or what.

    http://www.worldsoccershop.com/cyber-monday-2011.html

World Soccer Shop being another enterprise of the same company that runs the BigSoccer Shop, soccer.com, the Arsenal USA store, the Chelsea USA store, etc.

World soccer shop has these for $95.

Originally $220. I figured why not. My Adidas predators are pushing 7 years old now, so I figured it was time for a new boot.

I always buy last season's boots. It is stupid to waste $130 just to have this season's boot when last season's was still very good.

If you want a nice pair of boots and don't care about your mates making fun of your last season's boots, they are a solid deal. They are listed at $150 at most reputable websites and I thought people here would be interested.
