So I just received a rather sizable gift card to ArsenalStoreUSA by some friends for my birthday but I can't decide if I should get the new home kit in short or long sleeves. Anyone have the long sleeve? Any quibbles? I dont have another nike long sleeve jersey but I just like the look/cut of it.

(Unfortunately its listed as pre-order in my size until Early-Oct. but I feel like itd be worth the wait.) :D

I'm big on LS. Personally, I like the look of the sleeves rolled up if I want them short, and since the season is mostly the winter, it's better there too.

I'd go with LS...looks much better, especially the home jersey.

JACKED. <Insert joke playing on 'the Gun Show' and Arsenal> JK(Cant be bothered to do it myself, havent had my coffee yet.) :D

I see the LS has alot of support. I also like it because I never see anyone in one even at Arsenal-heavy pubs, so thats cool too. Guess I'll get my pre-order in and considering how crap the squad is right now I dont have any desire to put a name on the back. haha

How did no one look at this warm up and say "Hey, that kind of looks like a sports bra"?

Unrequested update - Got the 1970s throwback LS. Fits like a glove, feels like the cotton is a bit thicker, almost sweatshirt like compared to the ultra-light modern jerseys, so I look forward to waking up early and stumbling to the pub in it on the upcoming fall Saturdays. Thanks for the input fellas.

Glad to hear you like the Toffs throwback. I've been considering one, as well!

I love my Toffs throwback, which I've probably had for about 8 years. I do not recommend the throwbacks currently being sold by the team. They're crap.

The logo is coming off of your home kit from last year? I hope you don't mean this year's.

You don't put it in the dryer, do you?

Had one a few years ago that started peeling. Then I started just hang drying my jerseys and haven't had a problem since.

My girlfriend got me one of those for my B-Day, no sponsor on it though. Which is nice.

I'm thinking of buying one of those retro Arsenal shirts from arsenaldirect. Probably just the standard short sleeve Arsenal home.

Can anyone who has bought one of those give me some insight into what they're like? Is the cotton super thick? Is it standard fit or does it fit sort of slim? Big pointy sleeves and whatnot.
