Interesting, I thought it was only the first year's "Fly Emirates" shirt that had the problems.

It happened to my 08 kit too. Although I really don't like it anyway. Not sure why I bought it...

It does get pretty old wearing shirts that say Fly Emirates on them, doesn't it?

I can attest to that as well, bigman.

And they look pretty horrendous with glue remnants. Thought I could work out in them but they looked so tacky I just tossed them.

I don't mind the fly emirates logo.

Haven't had any experience with them peeling either, but that's probably because I don't wear the kits that much which means not very many washes.

yeah thats the problem really. if you sweat in them in any capacity and have to wash them often then its probably not worth it. theres a bevy of thai kit manufacturers on ebay now, and I have to say the quality is up to snuff. plus they come with cool patches (UEFA and EPL).

if you plan to work out in them, Id highly recommend the knockoffs really.

Ill post a link if I find the one I bought from. really good stuff.

I wash my training shirts a lot, and i've never had any issues with peeling. I just wash them inside out and hang them to dry.

Do that and last year's home top is steal peeling off. Maybe it was from a faulty batch at JJB. Couldn't complain about the price though(£15).

I don't know; I like the striped ones. I'm getting the Welsh-colored polo for certain.

I'm an engineer for Toyota, so I'd love to see TOYOTA across the front. Plus, it'd work great with boring boring Arsenal. :p

Can anyone tell me the difference between a replica and authentic mock jersey?
Is it worth it to buy the mock for a lot more money?

They last longer. I wear mine incessantly, so I buy the cheap Asian knockoffs, but the few actual ones I have are much better quality.

The fake plastic lettering on mine have peeled (I've had to reiron some, toss others, and on one I drunkenly krazy-glued it), whereas the real lextra stays much better.

Honestly, though, I can't really tell a difference in terms of just looks between my knockoffs and my authentics.

Yeah, I haven't bought a jersey for awhile and was confused that there were options for buying replica kits. My assumption is the crest for the mock jersey is a lot better than the replica ones. Thanks for the info tho; I'm a bit picky when it comes to buying haha
