That could be a possibility, as I have heard a rumour that the new away kit might be purple.¿

That would mean there would be a third kit too right? I know the away top tends to be the 3rd choice the next season, but if the away top is purple, wouldn't the blue clash?

I'd like it without the black sash, but then I'd like it better if it were red instead of blue.

I totally agree: hate the sash. You couldn't really see it from a distance on tv though so I'm going to say I like them. Hopefully next year's Arse kit has all white sleeves too and not those terrible navy bands at the bottom. It really does look like a Man Utd kit

We're obligated to like it for the white sleeves, but to me it looks just like the womyn's softball jersey.

Anyone know of a legit US based site where you can order a Goalkeeper shirt with name on the back?

I was up in New York this weekend to see the Allman Brothers at the Beacon.

For the last several years I've noticed that one of their drummers, Butch Trucks, has taken to wearing soccer shirts during the shows. Usually, it's Italian national team or Inter stuff. On Saturday, he came out for the second set wearing what I initially thought was an AS Roma shirt because it appeared to be maroon and orange.

However, the longer I looked at the shirt, the more the badge on it looked like Arsenal's rather than Roma's. It was a Nike shirt, with no sponsorship stuff on it. I may have mistaken redcurrant for maroon, but the thin stripe across the chest still looked orange to me. I did a google image search that wasn't terribly helpful, but what I found made me think it was an older Arsenal training top.

If this description rings a bell, let me know.

EDIT: I may have answered my own question. What year was this shirt from?

Is this it? I don't remember the shirt, but it says 08/09 in the description.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure that's it. I don't ever remember seeing it before either.

Actually love it, minus the horizontal line.

    I'm fairly certain that's a training kit.

Looks like the first fake has been minted for next season's away kit.

I think I'll dig out the Arselona top before dropping £45.
