Heynckess must be laughing his ass off right now. And Hoeness got his jail reporting date set for end of May so he could watch Bayern in the CL final HAHAHAHHAHA what a tool!!
All of this makes that Barcelona loss and that subsequent Sevilla loss so frustrating. Our defense was just phenomenal tonight.
Its okay you guys can still win the doub...nvm youre playing BVB that might not happen either. Hey at least you guys won the league faster than anyone else ever!!!!
Gotta remember Pep lost his best friend just days ago. Not easy to coach after that. Especially in a high pressure game. Real Madrid gameplanned and played extremely well. Its not the end of the world. Next year Im sure it will be even easier for Bayern.
Best quote of the day "If the opponent is very fast and needs space behind your defence, and you give them that space, you are stupid,"
I just don't understand Pep's gameplan for today. He started the game off like they were down 2:0 from first leg and playing high pressure against a team that's deadly on the counter. They were down only 1:0, don't press but play collected and let them come to you so that you're not susceptible to counters. Although what I'm more surprised about is the goals came off set pieces, an area German teams typically excel at both defending and scoring on.
Thats how he always plays. Press when you dont have the ball. Keep the ball when you do have the ball. Madrid just outplayed them. They were defensively the best theyve been all year IMO. The players that people didnt think could put in a beautiful defensive shift(Bale and CR7 after missing a few games cuz of injury/illness). They capitalized on mistakes made due to the defensive pressure Real put on Bayern. Ancelotti had Peps playbook today. Read every little thing they did. Capitalized on set piece weakness. Zonal marking again showing the world how bad it is(Mancini never forget).
