A shame to see Popovic not come home when it would have been brilliant to see him come and improve the A-League. Would have been a fantastic signing for any A-League club.

Unfortunately sometimes you cannot argue with money.

There may be a silver lining however, Popovic's move, specifically seems to have lured out O'Neill to strongly consider FFA financial help for clubs wanting to bring these sorts of players home.

In all honesty they will probably do nothing. Okacha is pretty much expired. And as for Popovic it shouldnt be hard to stop guys who cant even dribble the ball, but forget calling him an all-star there.
