Its a nostalgic feeling waking up on the weekends and watching Stuttgart play.

    Goollll!!!!

Maza Rodriguez flicks on what was a deep corner towards the far post to Cacau who heads it on in.

    well done maza.

Damn the feeds I'm watching keep going down, funny enough only the one from goaltv and their shitty play-by-play stay up.

We need a few more Mexicans in that league. I think Sttutgart was a fantastic move for Maza. Undisputed starter in a better league with a very solid team.

Was he playing against Jermain Jones's team?

If so, that's another slap to the nads! lol Someone should start a thread on the nads forum about who would win in a fight with Maza and Jones.... Maza would eff him up. LOL

I like how the announcer called him "Maza, the Big Mexican". Europeans probably thing Mexicans don't grow taller than 5'10". It's also cool that on the 2nd and 3rd goal, he was the first teammate that the goalscorers celebrated with. Though it's very subtle and I may be reading too much into it, it's good to see him getting along with his team after only a couple of weeks.

He had very little to do today, since Borussia rarely attacked down the middle. Played well when he did have to defend, and provided good outlet passes.

Unlike Americans, Europeans don't come in contact with Mexicans very often, so they don't really have stereotypes one way or the other. Plus, if you were watching the game in English, it was really done for an American audience, even if the commentator has a foreign accent.

In the end, at 1.91m, Maza is just literally a big Mexican. If he was French, he'd be a big french guy. I'm happy to have him on the team so far.
