Japanese shirts are maybe the best, the battle is against the english shirts.
I think I'll buy the National Team shirt, it's spectacular!!

Yeah. My girlfriend is already uncomfortable with the number of rising sun flags at the besuboru. Football in Japan is a lot more international-minded (though that statement may be a little obvious to some ;))

I don't think the fan waving those flags mean any evil, but I agree they're eerie. Their meaning is not so different from the flags used in Germany until 1945, and since the post WWII debate is still open in Asia, I'd rather people to be super-conscious about it...

Good lord! I swear, I'm not sure if the leaked kit pictures of the adidas nations on footballshirtculture.com is fact or myth, but they look damn terrible. Adidas has only made the German jersey look the best by far. Mexico, Greece and Spains just look bloody awful.
I'm actually scared for Japan's and Argentinas kit now.

I know that its probably not relevant, but the training suit looks really slick.

If it looks anything remotely close then I will be happy.

thats looks ok, but if the jersey were to look like that, i'd like the white not to spread to the arms.

I don't like the white or the yellowish striping.

Whoever wears it will look as if he has spilled a lot of milk down to his armpits.

Not sure if this is fake or not, but apparently this is the new French jersey.

It's the official one. Domenech had presented it
Argentina presented their jersey too, and I'm telling you its one of the best by Adidas by far, along with the Germany one. So far, the worst jersey is Mexico, well I consider it ugly.

Is Veron likely to actually wear that shirt in anger? Might explain the bemused expression.

This is a remake of the 1998's one, when we won the world cup. Ha, this seems so far ...
Anyway, can't wait to see the new Japanese.

Went to KAMO today. They haven't seen the NT uniform yet, but the gossip is that the color is navy -- as I suspected.

BTW, Diego (Sanga) was in the store last week looking for a Palmeiras uniform. He couldn't find one, so he ordered it. So, we're not the only ones collecting shirts... tee-hee.

I am very ambivalent about the red bib-thing. Anyone else feel the same way?

I don't like the red thing in the middle. The other parts are all nice but that really kills it for me. I don't see the point of it.

Do you guys think its safe to buy Uchida #6 or would that be a risk. I'm confident he'll be in the squad despite his form but would he definitly be #6?

Love the sleeves, and the blue, and it looks like an alright fit for a sports shirt, but what... the Hell... is that thing... under the collar?

Looks like they're permanently ready to eat some lobster.
