just checked JMA, noticed that Typhoon #12 is on the way to Japan, will hit on Friday probably ... hopefully match can be played
Much worse. To them, qualifying to WC was an over-the-head leap, and that was clearly shown by their opponents in South Africa. I'm expecting a tough match though. Maybe even more tough than against South Korea.

No real surprises but a couple of points -Why no Sakai? Komano will take Uchida's place, but I can't see him offering much more than Sakai except maybe some experience. These two matches will probably not rely too much on the fullbacks so why not give Sakai a run-out? Doesn't make much sense since he brought in Haraguchi who has little to no chance of playing. At least Sakai is good enough to compete at his position unlike Haraguchi who has loads of competition. -Stop calling up Makino. He's doing nothing right now and rewarding him with a call-up is not going to help at all. Zac needs to stamp his foot down and tell Makino that if he wants to have a future in the NT then he has to start playing consistently whether it is in Europe or Japan. Other than those two points I can't really see anything wrong with the selection. The midfield is probably the best available. Forwards too. I think its a good idea to wait and see how Morimoto does this season and then make a decision whether or not to call him up.
4 more games left. October 7: Vietnam (Home) October 11: Tajikistan (Home) November 11: Tajikistan (Away) November 15: North Korea (Away)
They still haven't figured out what time the matches are starting yet, but I imagine they'll show it live, yes.
Thanks! Our news are saying that it is impossible to show the match live from N. Korea. Will Japan go with its technology there to broadcast it like it was with our team? Or they just will buy the right to show the match from Koreans?
Yup, his bruise injury from the first leg of CL (I believe) was aggravated by playing through the second leg
So many injuries in the first team choices recently... Nagatomo Honda Uchida Hasebe Okazaki Kiyotake Nakamura And so many underperforming/not playing... we know who those are Could Vietnam take advantage of a weakened/lackluster JNT and pull off a spectacular upset?
The friendly match aganist Vietnam will be useful for some experiments. I'd love to see Mike Havenaar in the starting eleven, like Inoha and mostly HARAGUCHI, a great player to be. Needless to say that we HAVE to win aganist Tajikistan.
Kashiwagi failed aganist North Korea. Kagawa - IMHO - isn't the right player to do that kind of work. Maybe reinventing K. Nakamura would be a good idea?
It wouldn't surprise me if we go 3-4-3 with Havenaar smashing 3 past Vietnam...and Zac going with the same the game after.
