To show who's the boss in Asia. That's because of winning the Asian Cup and also to show that JNT aims for bigger objectives on the international scene as it wasn't enough :)

But why do we have to show it DPRK then? Like we totally need it...

Thanks Unknownsolo, but I think the only one it looks good at is probably Honda :D

If the jersey is sold in stores, then you know why.

It'll be solely for that game (the inauguration of eliminations) and sold on that occasion IIRC :D Only at Adidas® stands of course.

Just for making a few extra bucks?

I don't know... Even if we don't like it, the NT-jersey designs should have a meaning other than making money.

Sure, why not ? This model is approaching its death and they're surely trying to suck up anything left in it.

It's about showing the DPRK that while their government can't even feed the populace, we get gold kits. I'm okay with this.

speaking of which. I bought myself both a Home and Away jerseys, but I can't find their shorts on online retailers. Do they not sell them at all?

And of DPR Korea, what are our records against them? I'm just curious. I only know about Chong Tese who's lived in Japan and played in the J-league and now in B2's Bochum, along with former Cerezo Osaka's Takashi Inui.
several DPRK players also played in the J-league, so are they around the same level as Japan and S. Korea?

I think Adidas has plenty of leftovers. The jersey is on sale everywhere, including previous Japan NT's games for 5000 yen. They just stick golden numbers on it, and sell a few thousands that way. Not bad.

Dislike Reysol, but agree, it's a good selection, he's scoring for fun so far this season.
