Re: Japanese Players Abroad Generic Thread 2011/12 [R] Don't know if this is the right thread..... http://www.goal.com/en/news/15/germ...rn-munich-optimistic-of-takashi-usami-signing Usami will be loaned out
Re: Japanese Players Abroad Generic Thread 2011/12 [R] ????????? Must be someone big........... I don't think that Usami would entertain an offer unless it was from another big club.
Re: Japanese Players Abroad Generic Thread 2011/12 [R] ah i heard from Germans this guy isnt always trustful, they said dont worry so much about what he says ... maybe he just means that still Cesena or so wont give up, we already know that they want(ed) Usami as well ... nothing from Japanese so far last thing what Nikkan was reporting, they think it still could take some time to make the official announcement the clubs, guess about 1-2 weeks at least
Re: Japanese Players Abroad Generic Thread 2011/12 [R] http://www.sponichi.co.jp/soccer/news/2011/06/09/kiji/K20110609000986400.html Sporting Lisbon have made an offer for Usami. Doesn't seem like an offer that he would consider, but I guess it would ok because he would definitely get playing time.
Re: Japanese Players Abroad Generic Thread 2011/12 [R] http://hochi.yomiuri.co.jp/soccer/jleague/news/20110608-OHT1T00256.htm Hertha Berlin and Augsburg are interested in Lee. Hertha have many good strikers so I don't understand the interest there. Augsburg might be a good choice since Hosogai is there.
Re: Japanese Players Abroad Generic Thread 2011/12 [R] yes i read that about Sporting, Usami personally already agreed with Bayern, just the rest is up to clubs about transfer details and that stuff
Re: Japanese Players Abroad Generic Thread 2011/12 [R] This whole loaning system is annoying, buy the players when they are mature enough. How exciting is it. Usami will sign for Bayern knowing there is a chance he might never really play for them if he's stuck in a bad situation with Nuremberg. He should stay where he is and make the big jump at 21.
Re: Japanese Players Abroad Generic Thread 2011/12 [R] I think Usami being loaned out is a good idea. Especially if its to another Bundesliga team. However FC Schalke and Bayer Leverkusen are not good options for this (ffs Leverkusen will probably be real challengers for the title again). He should go to a team just promoted or mid-lower table like Freiburg, Monchengladbach or Wolfsburg even. The thing is that where-ever he goes in Germany he will probably get a decent chance because of the rep of Japanese players there.

Re: Japanese Players Abroad Generic Thread 2011/12 [R] Today's Kicker quotes Heynckes (our new coach): "He is very talented, agile and technically very good. He is a good kid and can play as a second striker, attacking midfielder or on the left flank."

Re: Japanese Players Abroad Generic Thread 2011/12 [R] The article says Usami will go to Munich finish the paperwork after the game against Hiroshima and is expected to join the club in the mid-July: http://www.tz-online.de/sport/fc-bayern/takashi-usami-entscheidung-fuer-fc-bayern-meta-1283184.html Sorry if I missed something, you can't trust Google Translate
Re: Japanese Players Abroad Generic Thread 2011/12 [R] Basically, it's all it says. But honestly, reading some of the comments (about half of the postings are removed due to probably racist remarks) makes me vomit that Usami is joining Bayern.
