Ajax has to make it out of the third qualifying round to make it to the Champions League. Their opponent isn't decided yet.

Okey thanks. But how reliable is this news about Ono?

Voetbal International is a reliable source in Holland.
He should take the offer because he doesn't fit the style of J. League.
But I don't think Urawa allow him to go.

He could make an impact, but who knows, his confidence must be rock bottom :-/

It'd be real interesting to see him playing for Ajax after the relatively successful spell at Feyenoord. I wonder what the fans will think...

Ono has been mentioned as a replacement for Sneijder, not Davids. (First of all Ono differs from Davids in playing styles)
But Sneijder will stay at Ajax, so I don't think they go for Ono anymore.
