Re: Japanese Football Media Thread - part III DREADFUL news for those who like me to like to record and collect J.League games and highlights: SkyperfecTV (and/or J.League?) has (have?) decided to encrypt all J.League programs, so that they can be burnt and watched only on the HDD player you connect to the decoder -- not on other DVD players or PCs. Those using standard DVD recorders and VHS recorders might be prevented to record at all. This Sunday and Monday only all games will be visible and recordable for free, then the Holy Inquisition will strike. They tried it last season, and I complained with some 10 calls (and probably others too voiced discontent), until they changed it back, but hey also told me "Not sure about 2010..." In fact... Well, those of you recording or trying on Saturday, let me know how it goes. In any case, this sort of censorship is really SHAMEFUL. What evil do I do if I record a J.League game AFTER I HAVE PAID for it??? Why do they treat Japanese soccer as if it was something to protect and hide, rather than share it? For those who might need to work with games (journalists, scouts, etc), this is really unacceptable.

Re: Japanese Football Media Thread - part III Yeah, very hard to find something about the games, only 2 games per matchday broadcasted live usually (Omiya - Tokyo was on Teletama too + repeat on Fuji OTN). I dont know if its shown on other channels/tv shows. If Reds are not live (as happened against Jubilo first match), highlights will be shown on next Reds TV show. Other teams have such show? I know Omiya has, not sure if Albirex too but i think so. Correct me if im wrong. ACL on BS Asahi and TV Asahi-ch.
