I don't know if this is a record, but.. if Endo will be part of this spedition, it will be his 3rd CC. A record?
no Tahiti, no African side. Yesh. Getting out there would mean we have a real chance at getting top 4 at the world cup. No kidding.
I agree. But i have my doubts of getting alive from this group. Mexico is the game-changer. If it was only for Brazil and Italy, i'd have some hopes. But we're gonna suffer Mexico, like in the Olympics.
Opening match of the competition: Brazil vs Japan. They will use this match as an entertainment for the brazilian supporters and an easy match "Goliath vs David" BUT we know that the starting matches of the last international competitions were something unpredictable and total surprise at the end of the 90'. Than Italy: they will undervalue Japan or not depends on their (not Japan's) first match against Mexico. That's why I hope for a win for them first of this match About Mexico: they did Well at the Oly but what about the senior team? I don't remember where they stop in the last WC.
1/8 against Argentina. But they're good, they're adding some of the Olympic team to the first squad. They're really interesting, just like us.
I just hope not to lose all 3. Because really that is the type of opposition we are up against. I also hope at least one of the blue's go through...
CC 2005 was excellent but WC 2006 broke my heart Confederation Cup is, in my opinion, a glorified friendly tournament.
This is a very interesting group. Japan's style has impressed me for years, and finally I can see an official match between two of my favourite national sides. I'm hoping we are both qualified by the time we play our match, but I'm expecting the best from your guys.
Well they played in 2005 confed cup, and Japan seemed to struggle more against Mexico than against Brazil. The olympic team struggled against Mexico's style recently as well. So it will be interesting to see if Zac has a plan. Then again, Mexico is a good team so it is expected its opponents will struggle. Anyway I am a fan of Japan and Italy, and like how Mexico and Brazil play, so this is a group where I want to watch all matches for sure.
Why are we speaking with each other in english anyway? Belo Horizonte is a nice city, love 'em mineiras
