So, the draw is gonna happen on the 1st of December, I think.

Let's recap who's gonna be in the competition:
    - Japan (as 2011 AFC champion)
    - Italy (as 2nd at Euro 2012 behind Spain)
    - Spain (as world champions)
    - Brazil (as hosts)
    - Tahiti (as 2012 OFC champions)
    - Uruguay (as 2011 Copa America champions)
    - Mexico (as 2011 CONCACAF champions)
    - ? (as CAF 2013 champions [Africa])

The first match will take place on the 15th of June 2013.

No Tahiti, please. It will be pure waste of time and possible experience.

It would be fun. More than it was against Tajikistan.

Strange... The draw will be before CAF championship than whatever african team will win (from Ivory Coast to Zimbawe) it's already decided in which group they will be...

the draw isn't based on the FIFA ranking I think, so there is no difference.

Oggi a San Paolo il Pallone d’oro, sabato il sorteggio di Confederations Cup con l’Italia — oggi la Fifa l’ha confermato — che sarà nel gruppo del Brasile.

uh what? how is this possible? Before the seed?
Also the only team I wouldn't want to meet is Brazil honestly, I'd prefer even Spain lol, though meeting Italy would be fun

edit: it seems that Brazil and Spain cannot meet for some FIFA rules. And two teams of the same continent cannot meet too.
    Therefore it is:
    Brazil
    Italy
    Asia\Africa\CONCACAF\OFC

    Uruguay
    Spain
    Asia\Africa\CONCACAF\OFC

Brazil, Italy, Japan, Mexico would be so good for experience, though either will be great.

They can't meet because they're from the same confederation. And that's not possible.
Anyway, give me Tahiti, Brazil and Italy.

Do you want the revenge against Brazil in a real competition? :p
In any case it will be good and I can't wait for Italy vs Japan, it will be a special match...

Beside the draw, do you think that we'll bring our starting-XI or we're gonna make some experiments in this CC?

I think experiments shall be saved for the ensuing EAFF Cup. Confederations Cup is tailored to prepare the first team to WC experience, so be it.

In this situation, wins against Tahiti won't mean much since the other teams in the group will get also get the 3 points against them. So the Tahiti games are like a side bet in a game of poker when one person down on their chips and goes all in against 3 players with much more chips, the goal difference will just be the determining factor who wins that side bet. Would much rather them play against 3 tougher team to prepare for the real event in 2014.

3 points will permit them to go into the final chart too. Add others 2 "real" matches and it will be fine to play against Tahiti.

    RIDICULOUS DRAW!
What the ******** happened with the picking of balls? A chef, really? Tahiti and Uruguay were both B3!

This is FIFA, the ones who didn't want the "moviola" on field.

Anyway, "tough group" is a compliment.
