He's played in 4 games, all as a sub, for Greuther Fuerth II. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...fuerth-ii-1420/58912/spieler_george-jann.html
Assist 8/13 vs. Seligenporten: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/s...seligenporten/index/spielbericht_2337997.html Missed 5 straight games due to injury, played the 2nd half on 9/20 vs. 1860 Munich II, then out injured again this weekend: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/jann-george/leistungsdaten/spieler_93532.html
http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...reuther-fuerth-ii-1420_tsv-buchbach-9058.html Scored a goal on Saturday against TSV Buchbach.
Jann scored a penalty goal against Bayern II recently: http://us.soccerway.com/matches/201...n-munchen-ii/spvgg-greuther-furth-ii/1482331/
Pointless update. He has 4 goals in 13 games (7 starts) in the first 2/3 of the season. Their next game is in March.
Opened 2014 with another goal for Greuther Fuerth II vs. TSV Rain/Lech on 3/8, making it 3 straight games (+ an assist) & 5 goals/4 assists on the season: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/jann-george/leistungsdaten/spieler_93532.html
Jann scored a both of Furth II's goals in their 2-1 win over Seligenporten today. He's got 5 goals and an assist in his past 4 games. I wonder how if he'll get a contract with Greuther Fürth's first team at the end of the season. They've got a decent chance of being promoted to the Bundesliga and he's still just 21.
If i recall, his coaches always thought he had talent but was a head case and a lazy worker. Maybe he's shaping up.
This is exactly right. He has natural talent but but is a head case to the extreme. It'd be something if he can turn it around.
While impressive no doubt it is important to remember that Furth II plays in the Regionalliga Bayern, which is very weak compared to many of the other regional leagues.
scored again, yesterday against Augsburg II. That's now 6 goals in the last 7 games for Jann. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/jann-george/leistungsdaten/spieler_93532.html
Jann scored yet again last week against Nurnberg II. In his last 12 games he had 8 goals and 4 assists... He finished the year with 10 goals and 7 assists despite missing 10 games with injury. If Furth fail to gain promotion, is there any chance Jann could be in the first team picture for them next season? Talent has never been his issue, I'm assuming given the season he had he's kept his attitude in check?
George started and went the full 90 in Greuther Furth II's next 3 games, 2 wins and a loss. He scored on a PK in a 3-1 drubbing of Schweinfurt.
In Schweinfurt's only season in the II. Bundesliga, I went to their game against Babelsberg, a game in which the American Adamo Campellone scored his only goal in 6 games for Schweinfurt http://www.fussballdaten.de/zweiteliga/2002/32/schweinfurt-babelsberg/ http://www.fussballdaten.de/spieler/campelloneadamo/2002/ The best thing about that season was their jersey sponsor, a local company. Shoud've bought one.
George again went 90 in a 2-3 loss to FC Augsburg II. He didn't score. He now has 2 goals in 5 full game, one a penalty.
