i agree once they qualify to champions league and gain some more trophies more players will be attracted to playing in front of 3.000 people
If the team proves that their project is serious and constantly reach further in the Champions league. 3.000 people as a fanbase is the least thing a player is going to be concerned about.
came out wrong lol but yeah i meant before players might have looked at this project as something that won't succeed , but since there doing great now after coming out of the second division, other players will see the potential and wont have a problem signing up for this monaco project.
http://www.antena2.com.co/noticias/zinedine-zidane-podria-ser-el-tecnico-del-mon-65610 Zidane can teach James one thing or two besides anything is better than Ranieri at this point for me
james is colombian ....he can play in all big teams, without regreats because he isnt fan of an euro team
Well from I heard, he really wants to play in La Liga. I remember before that when he said something about admiring Real Madrid. So there's a possible future with that team in the works if he continues on his stardom.
Is good that he feels the responsibility of the team on his shoulders. Because Colombia depends on him and I'm frankly tired of seen great Colombian talents choke on decisive moments. To put it in small words, estoy mamao de ver como jugamos como nunca y perdemos como siempre
Falcao, James, Zuniga and Cuadrado are big game players. You can't have a whole team of them but is more than we have ever had.
I am too busy watching the North London Derby to be watching Monaco play. Is James all excited or calm?
yep my mistake...I like James in this team. I remember everybody bitching about him signing for ASM but I think it was a good move. He's improved as a player and Porto hasn't done crap this season. It was a smart move.
To be fair, this investment and project isn't as consistent as they were in the beginning. I can tell you however that they'll be much better by the summer transfer window when they have something to offer to more talented players. As for Porto, they have a better and smarter coach now. One who understands the value of the players that he has.
ejem.... I always Like that transfer, not only because he was going to be next to Falcao but because he was going to be next to his midfield partner; Mouthino. Also the moment they said they signed Toulalan (who happens to have exactly the same playing style as Mouthino and James) I knew James had players next to him that actually understand his playing style so he would feel comfortable Yes I was wrong by trying to defend Ranieri and I accepted I was wrong in that part. But I believed and still believe (if they fire that coach) in the whole Monaco project
At first I thought 45€ millions was way too much for James but now his value is over 50€ millions. I wonder what his price will be in two or three years! Since he's been a regular starter, I've seen only one or two average performances from him. He is clearly the best player Monaco has. Now he has 6 goals and 10 assists in 23 matches. Not bad!
Well most of his price was based on the fact that he's young and that he's not even in his prime yet. Hence those players are valued so high.
Buying young players is also very risky. And James hadn't proven himself in a big league at that point. His prime will be at 26-28. Specially since his game is not based on speed and strength but rather brains and skills.
I'm the one who makes the definition of a 'big league'! It was my idea! Besides, that could have been just luck.
