He's a consistent, opportunistic goal poacher...exactly what we need.

Jaime Ayovi can come good from the MF position when he plays back something benitez also do but not as consistent. I would risk playing Arroyo and Rojas together also like this

    Valencia----------Noboa---------Arroyo

    ----------J. Ayovi--------Rojas--------

    -----------------Benitez-------------------

I think Ayovi goes in front of Benitez.

Well I prefer Ayovi dropping back he has the physical strength to hold up the ball more so then Benitez... To me Benitez has become more of a poacher... in theory All three players up front would interchange positions.... honestly if it were really up to me I wouldn't start Benitez I would go with a traditional 4-4-2 and have 2 big strikers up front like Ayovi and Caicedo/Tenorio.

    I see your point.

BUT....Tenorio won't play for the NT from what I have heard.

Benitez has been our best player so far in the WC qualifiers. He has created or scored almost all of our goals. No way he's getting dropped anytime soon.

Yoya is playing as a freakin winger! WTF get out of here! I understand dudes not scoring lately and what not but SERIOUSLY?! that's the most ridiculous thing i've seen. That's like seeing Gabriel Achilier play as a striker. wow. That coach is plain retarded.

He's scored 3 in the last 2 weeks. Let's see if he can keep it up and break into the starting 11 in the Liga MX with Fidel up front. Btw does anyone know whats up with Fidel? I didn't see him start 2 games in a row and to my knowledge he didn't come in as a sub either...although i didn't watch the last two games entirely so I might have missed him on there. Does anyone know what happened with him? Since he played with the NT he's not been starting in Tijuana and Yoya actually has been getting his engine up and running now.

Let's hope for the best for Yoya and Fidel.

I think Farias was resting Fidel for the Concacaf Champions League. He started game 1 last week on Wednesday in LA and then came in late tonight as a sub.
