If someone can find me a better hold up striker with his back to the goal than Jackson I would shocked. Also, that one play where Quaresma crossed it to him and he extended and one timed it over the net was a thing of beauty. Just a little better timing and it could have been a shot on goal, but most strikers can't even get to a ball like that so it was impressive.
Shit. I forgot Porto is playing. This is 8Baller BTW, I changed my password and forgot it right away LOL. Had to make a new account.
Man Jackson took that penalty well with confidence. I think that he's got a good chance to get that goal scoring momentum now.
Yeah, Jackson took the penalty well. I was certain he was going to miss. In the europa league match the spanish commentators were comparing Jackson and Bacca. They thought Jackson is good but not as good as "they" say and that Bacca is better. I guess they were biased since Bacca plays in La liga. And I'm sure they have seen Jackson play only europa league. I'm not sure about my own opinion. I think Jackson is more lethal but Baccas collective play is very good. But then again so is Jacksons... Just thinking out loud.
Jackson con 41 goles esta a 8 goles de entrar al top 10 de goleadores historicos del Porto... lastima que no pudo hacer los impresionantes numeros de la temporada pasada
Nope. Due to yellow card accumulation. It is a shame cause the team really missed him yesterday. They don't have a replacement for his tough hold up play as a #9.
He already signed a deal with Roma? We'll have to see how legit this rumor is.... http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2014/04/14/report-jackson-martinez-set-to-snub-arsenal-and-chelsea/
Impossible to say if the rumor is true or not, but Roma sounds good. Their best scorer (Destro) has 13 at the moment. I'm sure Jackson could do better than that.
And, we've always developed more versatile like when playing in this league since the core of our national players tend to be from Serie A.
