I think partly what saved Portos *ss was Heltons injury. Portos second goalkeeper had a great game. It's really incredible that they survived this after seing Napoli totally own the game up until the equalizer.
I was thinking the same thing. The Backup looks better to me than Helton. Anyway, Jackson statistically may look like he did nothing but his hold up play was pretty stellar today. And their first goal pretty much came because he was fouled, the advantage was played and Napoli could not recover. Then after that Jackson hustled everywhere and played good defense. Good to see him be active and show a good work rate without the ball.
Well I am pretty sure that if they're investing in him, they're investing in more players as well for this type of style.
Anything can work in football If you know what you are doing, something that im doubtfull about Rafa... But deff you can bring a pair, or heck bring 3 center forwards if you want and fill them with air balls. But once again you have to know what the heck you are doing. Mourinho beat Barcelona with Inter by using Etto as a LB and telling his players "once you pass the mid gave them the ball back, just stay in your area.
Highlights Porto - Benfica... Jacksons great header. And in the end Quinteros miss (4.03). If only he had a decent right foot he would've solved that situation better. I've said it before and will say it again: great keeper.
Regardless, they have an intimidating hostile atmosphere. Remember when Atletico faced them in the Copa de Rey? Porto need to put the pressure on them.
porto is dominating like crazy so far. Reyes is a pretty good defender. ESTE QUARESMA SI ES UN HP selfish guy.
Porto will be far from eliminated if they only manage to get a draw in this game....a worse trip than the one to naples they won't face in spain. If they managed to survive that one nothing is impossible...I'm really only scared by juventus by the teams still left.
