This game is going to be a hard fought game. Atlante is coming out with everything to avoid relegation. This is our opportunity to jump up to 4th place with a win.

I kept saying, even before he was brought in and peeps were calling for him, he is too slow for our team.

I don't know if you guys saw the b team play in copa mx, but we need some youngsters in there. They constantly did mano-a-manos, encaraban, went for passes de primera, and hardly if ever passed the ball back. ANd, the whole team, once they got the ball, played in unison--they knew what to do when they got the ball. The only ones that don't do that is fierro and gio. Put in saldivar, and maybe another kat.

Si no salen atacando en los primeros minutos es poco probable que salgamos con la victoria. Este equipo no ha hecho muchos goles y aún peor cuando juegan como en el primer tiempo

Hopefully atlante opens up a bit, with out Chaton in the midfield Castro is not effective

This formation is not good for RML shame because he has been nonexistent so far this season. Coronado is doing really good on the wing

not a bad tie for us as visitors, the game and atlante left much to desire. I'll take it as long as we win at home.

Well, that was the end of the 'easy' part of the schedule. Now we start getting the big guns.

I disagree. Showing no attitude or ambition against the last place team on the relegation list is not good for us. Other teams that have been taking the league more serious see Atlante and similar teams as filler games. Este es partido de tramite para la liguilla, no 'a ver si sacamos algún buen resultado.'

Not sure what you saw in the Copa MX games. Zaldivar was our worst player in those games. De Nigris sucking has nothing to do with his slow speed. I think he has it in him to improve, if only because he knows he needs to do better to be considered for the NT.

The one that needs to benched is Marquez Lugo. It sucks because he was our best player last season, but he's been the worst forward these past 4 games.

Gio Hernandez had a much better second-half, but he needs to help out Castro a bit more. Still impressed he's doing so well out of position.

That is his position now. He played that position all game against liones negros, in copa mx. Guero knows what's up.

Well, it does look like Guero wants to turn him into a CM.

If you payed attention to his past games under Galindo/Van Schip his best games came as a left winger. His natural position(the position he played at the Youth level) is as an attacking midfielder. You can tell its his preferred position too, because he said he felt he could replace Marco Fabian in a recent interview.

I'm not convinced that CM is his best position, but I can't complain with today's performance. I still think we're better off grooming Michael Perez for that position. He improved our distribution and had some nice runs when given space through the middle, but he was part of the reason Atlante was able to keep up(and at times dominate) Chivas in the mid.

Yes, but he will not play with all those people up front; and he is not a natural winger. I think he is better in the center of the field, with his great ball touch and maneuvering. Guero is about that point where he is realizing he cannot have both marquez and aldo up front; also, bravo is alright in the wing, but he does not have great wing qualities. I say keep bravo up there with either of the petardos, and have coronado up left. We need a young forward up top...come on granados, I hope you develop fast.
